Selena Gomez posts with ex-fling, The Weeknd's current fling Simi Khadra... whatever happened between him and Bella Hadid and Angelina Jolie?
Selena Gomez hasn’t been involved in interesting drama in a hot minute, but of course she’s no stranger to starting drama.
Before I start, no this isn’t the Selena update I’ve been talking about. This post wasn’t even supposed to go up until a day later, but I rescheduled it with the Oliva/Taylor post that will go up tomorrow. This post will discuss more relevant news, aka the drama with The Weeknd and Simi Khadra. I’m also going to tell you what happened between Abel and Bella Hadid, and why the hell he was hanging out with Angelina Jolie for like 5 months.

If there’s one thing I can give Selena, it’s that she’ll find a way to make mainstream news out of thin air.
Some can say that’s actually her main career.
On Feb. 24, Selena took to Instagram to post with twin sisters Simi and Haze Khadra. She captioned the photos since “since 2013”
God… she knows exactly what she’s doing.
So if you didn’t know, the photo drop comes just 2 days after Simi was spotted kissing The Weeknd, in Las Vegas while celebrating his birthday on February 22.
So obviously everyone is like ???? when Selena posts that considering The Weeknd aka Abel, is Selena’s ex.
The top comments under Selena’s Instagram post are all talking about this link.
Abel is already facing heat over his fling with Simi because she was Bella Hadid’s close friend at one point. And Bella is also Abel’s ex.
I don’t see any other reason behind why Selena would post that picture besides wanting attention. Her caption “since 2013” is her insurance because SHE KNOWS everyone is gonna be like, “hey wasn’t she just kissing your ex-man 2 days ago??” so she wanted to let everyone know that they’ve been friends since 2013.
Sure… you may have known them since 2013 but these aren’t people you exclusively hang out with. The twins have been on/off in Selena’s friend group for years, but she has her main girls and the twins aren’t part of that.
She knows what she was doing. I don’t see anything more to the story besides her wanting attention.
Selena also has an interesting way of popping up in her exes’ lives. Ever since their breakup, Abel didn’t really want anything to do with her but she was out here posting about how her fave song off his album is the song that everyone was saying he wrote for Bella.
Remember how her fans were CONVINCED that Abel and Selena were secretly dating? They were hell bent on proving this right and all the insiders they believe, claimed that too.
She was out here commenting on Bella’s stuff knowing damn well Bella didn’t like her considering she was sleeping with her ex.
Selena is an instigator and always has been.
It’s also funny to note that she’s all buddy buddy with her ex’s current fling considering Selena is NOT known to be the “chill ex.”
I mean ask Justin Bieber or go scroll through the endless posts on this blog about that messy ass relationship.

What happened between Abel and Bella?
I never got a chance to talk about Abel and his reconciliation with Bella after his PR cont- I mean relationship with Selena ended, and then his little fling with Angelina Jolie.
After Selena and Abel called it quits in October 2017, Abel ran back to Bella. Literally 2 weeks after his “relationship” with Selena ended, he was seen leaving Bella’s apartment in NYC.
I’ve barely spoken about Abel and Bella mainly because there isn’t much below the surface.
“It’s a relationship fueled by everything except love,” my source.
My source tells me that Bella and Abel get back together just for the lifestyle. It’s almost as if it’s convenient for them. He basically supplies her with the celebrity lifestyle and allegedly, Abel got the best drugs in Hollywood.
They get along for a few months and then boom, the relationship is dead.
My source also tells me that it’s fueled with publicity because ever since they got back together in November 2017, their official reps only confirmed it in April 2018. E! ran a whole story about how they were all over each other at Coachella only for Bella to deny it on Instagram by responding to the E! News Instagram account saying, “it wasn't me," alongside the shrugging and detective emojis.
Bella saying “it wasn’t me” seemed like she was shading him and hinting at cheating.
Speaking of cheating, my source tells me, “It’s either he’s always cheated on Bella or they were never exclusively dating. For his sake, I’m going to say they were not exclusive even though Bella has told [redacted] that they are back on for the gazillionth time.”
The relationship seemed to be back on in October 2018 when they were seen kissing in Soho

And they celebrated Bella’s birthday together in which she wrote a lovey dovey caption
They were then on and off again for a while.
They were up to the usual shenanigans of following and unfollowing each other.
My source says that Bella is nostalgic for Abel and even though their relationship is pretty toxic, he does have a lot of love for her.
They remind me of Justin and Selena circa 2013/2014.
There was no PR contract written up between them, but they did have a mutual need for the lifestyle. Despite all that, it wasn’t enough to make them stay together.
But now he’s out here dating Simi Khadra who was Bella's bestie. And Bella unfollowed Simi after the rumors first started. By the way, these rumors date back all the way to summer 2021.
Like I said, Abel hasn’t been the best boyfriend to Bella. I think my first ever info on them was in a Tell All from 2016 where I talked about how he was mean to her and made her insecure and she got so much stuff done to herself.
And for him to date someone else in Bella’s circle is just low. Not that Selena was ever in Bella’s circle, but they ran in the same circle despite them not being besties.

Going back to Selena, she is obsessed with being perceived as the mature ex which is something that I’ve spoken about in regards to the Jailey love triangle. But now… I could see Selena wanting to capitalize off this Simi and Abel situation considering there seems to be bad blood between Bella and Simi, but Selena is also an ex of Abel and she’s over here posting like the ~~mature queen~ she is.
Selena is a weirdo and Abel is weird as hell too.
Bella actually runs in lowkey circles that my friends are part of and she’s someone that wants to escape from the industry at specific times. It’s why she holds onto her heritage dearly and spends time learning about her Palestinian roots and ancestors. So when she’s fed up with the industry and the toxicity of it all, she attaches to what she looks at as home and focuses on that.
Let’s talk about Abel and Angelina Jolie.
According to my source, they were never dating. My source doesn’t know if there was any PR contract but no one has ever heard anything about them hooking up. For some reason, there was a mutual agreement to meet up and it was “good for business.”

Yeah her kid apparently met him at a concert and they were seen at a concert together, but my source explained it as a “taking out a client for dinner” type of situation.
Nothing really happened there because it was strictly business according to my source.
Apparently, Abel wants to get into the movie industry. He is making an acting debut in a new HBO show so there’s that.
My source never heard of them sleeping together or doing anything more than getting photographed at dinners.
