Selena Gomez's Boyfriend Video Rips Off The Weeknd's Heartless Video. She also Says "Snowchild" is her Current Favorite Song (+ More on this Obsessive Behavior with Abel + Justin Bieber)
Selena Gomez released a music video for her new song “Boyfriend” which is serving as the single for her Rare Deluxe album. She released this music video on April 10 and anyone with eyes can see that it is a complete rip off from The Weeknd’s music video for “Heartless,” which was released on December 3, 2019.
I’m going to get into her psychotic behavior towards the end of the post, but let’s actually discuss the fact that her entire video, was a rip off of the key elements seen in the Heartless music video.
1. The Red Blazer Outfit
I mean this is pretty self explanatory. Not only are they wearing extremely similar outfits—RED BLAZERS, they are also seen driving a classic convertible.
2. The Classic Convertible
Not only does Selena have the same car of choice, but there is a screencap of them in the car as well.
The red blazers and wearing sunglasses at night in a convertible car, is a coincidence to any of you?
3. Opening Scene
I mean come on! Almost identical fonts against a dark background with the same color?
4. Gambling Scene
Both Selena and Abel have a scene in the videos where they interact in a casino-looking gambling scene.
5. The Frogs
Selena ends up kissing a frog while Abel is licking one. This one is painfully obvious.
6. Trippy Reptile Like Effects
Selena turns the men into frogs with their webbed hands while Abel’s hands turn into the same slimy webbed effect seen in the rip off video.
I mean clearly NOTHING’s a coincidence. It is just TOO similar. It almost seems like “Boyfriend” had only one purpose—no not sell or actually chart high, but to solely rip off Heartless in order to start drama in the media and get Selena’s name out there.
And that is exactly what happened. If you think otherwise, you are literally stupid.

The Mirror wrote an article on how Selena ripped off both Justin and Abel, and they couldn’t even GET HER NAME RIGHT!
Also, that scene with Selina’s (as the Mirror would say) eyes, is literally an effect seen in Justin’s “Yummy” music video, released in January.
And look, whether or not YOU THINK this is all a coincidence, regardless of your irrelevant feelings, there is ONE GOAL that Selena has in mind here and it’s to be talked about. And trust me, all media outlets are talking about Abel and Justin in every article they write about “Boyfriend.”
Speaking of Justin, he released an iconic hit called, “Boyfriend” back in 2012. It’s one of Justin’s career highlight hits and it was a massive success back in the day, selling over 500,000 pure copies in its first week alone. You could say it’s a pretty well known song.
Selena KNOWS that. I mean she was on the set while he was filming for Boyfriend because she was angry and trying to start fights because his team hired a girl to play a role in the music video. Yes, she got mad at Justin for doing his job (like she got mad at him for hanging out with other girls while being single), so she brought herself on set and basically did this….
Imagine trying to work or even take a break from filming on set, only to struggle to carry your insecure girlfriend? Justin could relate.
It’s funny because Selena’s fans thought that Selena releasing Boyfriend will mean when someone googles “selena gomez boyfriend” they are going to get the song results instead. Funny, every article about Boyfriend, mentions Selina’s more famous exes. Also, you are giving her far too much credit at making a hit. The song is already free falling down all the charts.
Anyways, we are getting too off topic! Back to Selena basing her entire era off relevancy from her more famous ex-boyfriends, that want NOTHING to do with her.

“It’s goODbYe fOR uS” she says as she spends the next 4 months having interviews about what she said “goodbye” to.
Selena has led a quite pathetic return to music considering how obsessive she is over her more famous exes who moved on, quite literally as soon as they got away from her.
After Ms. Gomez based her entire “Rare” era, which was completely filled with rejects, on Justin and their teenage romance that has kept her relevant enough for me to still talk about her, she now continues to rip off another ex.
I told you that back in 2017 that Selena and Abel started off on a PR contract and they ended off that way too. He was beyond annoyed with her—as we all are, and she was trying to make the relationship turn into the real deal at one point.

He wanted nothing to do with her then. He wants nothing to do with her now. Yet what does Selena continue to do? Trying to associate with him despite her efforts to get Bella Hadid on her side a couple months ago—only to be ignored by Bella.
Now, Selena is saying that one of her current faves, is Snowchild by Abel…. a song that couldn’t be more about Bella than this one.
Bella’s laugh is literally sampled in Snowchild and he literally mentions Coachella aka the place where him and Bella met in 2015 and last attended in 2018, despite going with Selena in 2017.
Also, Snowchild is a reference to literal cocaine so if she wants that song to be about her, then by all means. I mean I already exposed their little fun activity that they used to do together.
Abel released a whole album about Bella, but Selena is doing her best to attach her name to his.
Girl has no self respect or dignity. I’m literally embarrassed for her.
In Selena’s twisted mind, she’s playing games acting like Abel wants anything to do with her. Also, I’m sure she doesn’t want to be portrayed like she has another problem with an ex so if she started drama with Abel or shades him, everyone is going to be like “hold up, this girlie not getting along with ANOTHER ex? Maybe she’s the problem.”
This is something everyone already sees, but it’s not in mainstream media. So that’s the story behind why she sticks to trashing Bieber, while supporting Abel who treated her like crap if you compare how Justin really treated her in their actual relationship. Plus, it’s easier to turn the public on Justin than it is to turn them on Abel.
But again, the media is writing about all her antics and we are talking about her, right?

Now my source says that Selena has a personality disorder (something I’ve been talking about since 2014) and Selena will probably confirm that for us one day, just like she will confirm her drug addiction when she overdoses. Not if, but when. You will see.
It’s also important to note that the therapy that Selena claimed helped her (clearly not a lot), is designed for those with a personality disorder.
This obsessive behavior is HURTING HER.
Listen, Selena is happy whenever I write about her and Justin because what am I doing? I am providing attention for an attention hungry leech. But then again, I don’t really care because I know Selena is currently in an ongoing downward spiral. Sure her fans are getting viral hate tweets about her exes and fellow peers, but who is suffering? Selena and Selena’s career.
I wish her career was even benefitting off this obsessive behavior, but it’s really not. Lose You To Love Me was only successful because it was milked in a victimizing way after the Bieber wedding and that is the ONLY REASON. No one was checking for Look At Her Now, or Rare, or Boyfriend, or anything Ms. Selena Gomez does because no one is interested in HER. They are interested in her famous association.
The truth hurts. But at some point, Selena needs to take responsibility for her own actions. Everyone else is moving on girl. No one wants to associate with her because she keeps doing this to herself. It’s a sad life she leads. At least I can log off and go on with my life. This obsessiveness is HER LIFE.
