Redoing the Variety interview, throwing a black woman under the bus, and the plane crash theory... this is how Meghan Markle's week went

There are rumors swirling around that Meghan Markle got a black journalist fired because her interview didn’t go as planned. Let’s get to the bottom of it, shall we?
August 29th — Meghan Markle is the cover story for New York Magazine’s The Cut. A cover story written by Allison P. Davis.
Meghan did her usual which is complain about royal work—such as not being happy that all photos released to the public eye had to be run through the royal family or the “Royal Rota” as she learned.
She also spoke about coming back to Instagram and how little girls come up to her and say “omg a real life princess!”
All in all, there was backlash from the interview because it didn’t present Meghan in the best way. But how is that the writer’s fault? I’ve said this plenty of times on ESMG—I’m not making anyone look bad, I am writing what the subject is doing & saying.
And that’s exactly what Allison P. Davis did for Meghan. My favorite? How she described her when Meghan told her the “secret” of her coming back to Instagram.
She’s just so…. rehearsed and desperate to seem quirky & relatable. And because she’s so out of touch with reality, that comes off even worse for her.
And poor Allison. You can feel her say:
like BFFR!!
October 19 — Meghan’s Variety interview is published.
This interview featured many things including how she’s mourning The Queen and a bunch of other word salad.
TRIGGER WARNING: If you are going to ask Meghan a simple question, be prepared for a whole prequel with Meghan talking about herself for 13 minutes and THEN answering your question.
The “what do you watch before bed” question was pitiful to listen to. Like girl get to the point!

WHAT HAPPENED WITH ALLISON
Here’s what she said in the Variety interview:
Basically… she reflected on it and implies that she was taken advantage of because she’s just SOOOO open and trusting :( and not everyone is like that :/
And she contrasts the interview with how she does her work claiming that she chooses to highlight something that is fair and uplifting, basically saying that’s not what Allison did with her.
Funny how people switch up because Allison was reportedly handpicked by Meghan to do this feature.

But that’s Megs for you. She throws anyone and everyone under the bus if it doesn’t benefit her.
Now you may think that Meghan wasn’t throwing anyone under the bus, but that’s just the pure heart in you guys.
Brooke Hammerling, a communications veteran and writer for Pop Culture Mondays on Medium, called out Meghan on Twitter.
And then Allison coincidentally tweeted about a suspicious extended vacation.
I asked my source if there was any truth to the rumor that Meghan got Allison fired, to which she says, “Allison is on leave without pay which is sad because while she did that interview, Meg was unprofessional as always. She let her security have Allison wait outside for an hour before letting her into Monteshitshow.”
Also, nobody took advantage of her. Her publicist was literally sitting with her and people have made the connection:

REDOING THE INTERVIEW

According to my source and just common knowledge, the Variety interview was already finalized before the Queen passed away. It was announced in September that it will be getting pushed back which tells us it was already complete.
But… here’s the tea.
Meghan reportedly redid the majority of the interview and photos following the Queen’s death. My source tells me, “When the Queen passed away, she begged Variety to redo the whole photo shoot and edit her interview.”

Usually when an celebrity has to postpone a project such as a magazine spread, it’s very rare for it to be redone because that costs time & money.
In the case of Meghan, the original Variety interview seemed to poke jabs at the royal family, but after the queen passed, it was redone for Meghan to seem more content instead of being her usual spiteful self, and it was done to include how she’s mourning the Queen.
And obviously, some changes were made to the Variety interview because they ended up interviewing her about the Queen and Meghan’s mourning, which made it to the headline!
I did an entire video on Meghan’s image REBRAND where I compare & contrast her interview on The Cut vs. Variety.
And this Variety spread didn’t have her usual moaning about the royal family. Instead, she claims to have shared a great warmth with Queen Elizabeth… as if the Queen didn’t call her out for lying saying “recollections may vary.”
My source says:
“She’s still pissed at the RF for not giving her kids any Royal titles. She and H are very in the hole right now when it comes to their finances. They are living in a house they can’t afford, they have bills they have to pay to keep with their extravagant lifestyle AND not to mention she’s spending money like water.
She’s pissed at Netflix for pushing her and H about the return of their investment for their docuseries, which btw they will NOT be editing to suit her narrative given she was talking mad shit before the Queen passed away. She’s just unhinged at this point. Through the vanity photoshoots and magazine spread her narcissism knows no bound.”

She spent the majority of The Cut interview whining & moaning to the point where you can feel Allison’s irritation with Meghan through her writing.
Her interview for The Cut had a really bad reaction from the press and the general public because it was very tone deaf, out of touch with reality, and Meghan being a professional victim regurgitating the same bullshit.
So she comes back from the UK after their mourning period… and things start being put into motion to change Meghan.
Both her and Harry cut off ties with the publicity firm they hired, Sunshine Sachs—new publicity team, new image.
“She wanted to change the interview because there were some disparaging things she said about the RF. One thing we do know is that MM and PH are literally in no man’s land with the UK and the RF. She knows now that anything that she has said behind the scenes will be put out there if she doesn’t watch her step. Now that Queen Elizabeth is gone, they aren’t protected.” — my source

I usually don’t discuss blind items on this site, but there’s one that stuck out to me that you guys have mentioned.
The Plane Crash Theory
Lady Collin Campbell claims that a while ago, a source told her that Meghan said “we are one plane crash away from the throne.” Meghan reportedly said that in the presence of the source that told Lady C.

Now that is a BIG accusation to make and Meghan isn’t any stranger to suing, but it gets even more interesting when a different blind site claims that there’s a video about Meghan talking about this.
I personally can’t wrap my head around Meghan and Harry being actual working royals, let alone being next in line for the throne. Why would they even want that when their entire brand is literally being the anti-royal?
What do you guys think?
I asked my source about this and she said that they don’t want to be full time royals, but “they want the half in half out bargain. They want to be up there with all the other senior royal family members at state dinners, G Summit and the premise of being royalty and at the same time they want to be A-Listers, going to award shows, showing up on red carpets doing big deals becoming this big billion dollar brand.”
I just find this SO WEIRD. The fact that the idea even passed through their heads that they could become next in line for the throne or something of that nature was said to the point where people are reporting on this PUBLICLY…. this is what’s scary.
My source tells me that the palace is strangely quiet, but they have done an extensive background check on Meghan—as they do for all the family members that marry in.
Interestingly enough, she tells me that they did a lot of work into fixing her reputation in order to mold her into upper class society. Through this, they found a lot of things in her past that showed that she’d be a threat to the family (as time has shown us), but despite it all, Harry still married her.
Now, this is a common theme with Meghan and Harry, especially in their early dating life. EVERYONE around them brought up the red flags, but Harry was like WELP, YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE!
In my video, I talked a bit about how I feel like Meghan is almost kicking Harry to the curb. When she made her return to Hollywood, he was in the photo shoots, he was in the podcast, but now, she’s doing the cover stories and the podcast. It’s like she’s trying to secure her place alone in a way that if a divorce ever came up, she’d be good.
I don’t actually think they’re going to divorce anytime soon, but it’s an idea that came to me.
