Selena Gomez's Changing Appearance: New Face, Plastic Surgery Rumors, and Nostalgia Bait
Selena Gomez’s changing appearance has been a topic of conversation as of lately mainly because she looks SO DIFFERENT. It’s a change that you can’t ignore and the general public started catching on.
This is interesting because Selena has always been a celebrity regarded as a natural beauty and while Selena is beautiful and was regarded as the beauty standard at one point, her changing looks brings up a sad discussion of young stars who get too much work done and leading to ruining their natural looks.

The Cleavage

Well, this explains Selena Boobs-Out-Always Gomez.
And nothing is wrong with flaunting your cleavage, but as my source said, Selena would talk down about women who would and she did this publicly several times.
She would also post the most unflattering photos of herself and then BAM… boobs.
Or this moment where she was thanking everyone for sh!tting on Hailey while acting like she didn’t know how to use TikTok despite the fact that she spends 10 hours per day on it.
And if you’re wondering… yes Selena did get something done to her boobs. I mean it’s obvious and no it has nothing to do with weight gain or weight loss.
Selena in 2016 vs. Selena in 2023:
“Yeah she had her boobs done. Selena’s weight has fluctuated for over 10 years so that doesn’t have anything to do with it. I think you can find photos of her at the weight she’s at right now, with her natural boobs. I’m sure you could tell that her new boobs are more fuller and more lifted. You could tell that in 2019, the dress was simply pushing up her boobs vs. in 2023
2022 vs. 2024
And when celebrities get something done, they always appear in public trying to cover up the work with an older photo… which is why Selena posted this photo from 2018, in February 2023

And her boobs look the same as in 2023, right?
Except for 1 slight issue… those photos she posted on Instagram appeared photoshopped or altered in some way because this is Selena the same night…

And I believe she was called out for it back in the day, which is why she ended up deleting the pictures despite them breaking records for being her most liked photos as Elle Magazine explains here.
Because ain’t no way the Selena we see on Instagram is the same one we saw photographed by the paparazzi on September 8, 2018 (aka the same night)
And there’s a difference between this 25 year old photo of Selena vs. 31 year old photo of Selena
And as a girl who yes, understands puberty and blah blah blah, I’m telling you that’s not natural growth. Plus, it’s not like I inserted photos of a teenage Selena in this post.
You could also tell she’s gotten something done because she’s been showing it off all year and oftentimes in the most TOO OBVIOUS or just chill Selena relax, way.

It’s quite obvious, it kind of reminds me of the work Bella Thorne got done.
Anyway, there’s nothing wrong with getting whatever you want done, but Selena’s appearance and its constant change has been a huge topic of conversation especially since her entire brand is about embracing your own natural beauty & being #rArE… and yet we have this Selena in public… changing her face every 2 days.

The majority of this post was written in December 2023, but now that we’re in 2024, I can insert the following photos that Selena posted on Instagram on January 23rd:

You couldn’t pay me to self-destruct in public like this.
“Today I realized I will never look like this again” and it’s a photo of a 21-year-old Selena vs. a 31-year-old.
Aside from her promoting unhealthy behaviors to her young and impressionable audience, nothing about this is normal.
She is a grown lady and she is still fishing for compliments publicly and victimizing herself because if a rich celebrity with an unlimited supply of Ozempic awaiting, is complaining about her weight gain, what does that tell the impressionable public watching?
Also, it’s funny that she chooses those bikini photos, you know, the ones that Hailey got lashings over for apparently body-shaming Selena and leading to the start of the irrational hate train in March 2023.
Part of me thinks that Selena misses when Hailey was catching strays every 30 seconds so she wants to give her fans enough rope to work their narratives on TikTok again and get another hate train rolling, but what do I know?
It’s not like I’ve been calling out Selena and her extremely predictable behavior for years. And if you read my posts from years ago…. oh do they age gracefully.

Selena announced that she and David Henrie will reunite to reprise 'Wizards of Waverly Place' roles on January 18, 2024.
The Wizards thing has been in production and talk for years. It finally got finalized and approved a couple of months ago. I think it’s interesting that Selena is trying to be taken as a serious actress and yet she’s holding onto her Disney roots… you know, something most actors run away from. I can’t imagine Zendaya doing a Shake It Up spin off but that’s because she has a lot of serious roles lined up.
On a real note though, Selena is mad entertaining.
She attended the Emmys with Benny Blanco as her date and they look very… cute together (I think). Thoughts?
