As the title of the post states, we are going to give you guys a deep dive into Taylor and Travis’s relationship and what the future looks like for Hollywood’s favorite couple.
This post is a continuation of the last one. Part 1 of this post talked about Taylor’s relationship with Matty Healy and how it affected her relationship with long-term boyfriend/rumored fiancé/husband, Joe Alwyn.
Going from moody, heartbreaking playlists and decade-long situationships to a very public relationship with Travis Kelce, this post explores what’s in store for Taylor and Travis as they plan for their big day, rumored to be sometime in the upcoming summer!

Are Taylor and Travis the biggest publicity setup of Taylor’s career?
When it comes to an audience that is taught to second-guess everything a public figure tells them, one can’t help but ask, is this love real love or the greatest marketing strategy?
Taylor’s relationships have always been complicated, not just because they’re meant to fulfill her personally, but because they’re also expected to serve her storytelling in the public eye.
That puts a lot of tension in a relationship, but from what sources have gathered, they are actually together.
Whether Taylor or Travis benefit professionally from their relationship is often treated as just another perk of their privilege. Still, the timing of how Taylor and Travis began can’t be separated from the damage Matty Healy’s public image was doing to Taylor’s career.
Matty and Taylor started dating in May-June 2023. Travis and Taylor started dating in August 2023
Where we left off in the last post, sources indicated that Taylor ended things with Matty largely because of his controversial and increasingly problematic reputation.
Despite years of an on-again, off-again situationship, once their relationship became public, Taylor’s team reportedly made it clear they didn’t want her associated with him.
As Matty’s views began to be associated with Taylor’s, the backlash intensified, and she walked away. Around that same time, Travis Kelce was casually mentioning Taylor on his podcast with his brother, setting the stage for what would come next.
Travis Kelce is the complete opposite of Matty Healy.
Travis represents the safest version of American masculinity: an all-American football star, charismatic, successful, and comfortably aligned with mainstream values. He conforms easily, in a way that has always worked in his favor.
He doesn’t threaten or challenge social constructs, much like Taylor.
In that sense, Travis mirrors something Taylor herself has long mastered: understanding how to operate within the boundaries of mass appeal. Taylor herself is the master of conforming to mainstream values in a way that benefits her without being overt about it.

I know many of you would be concerned about Karlie Kloss, and while they were confirmed to be together by my sources, it was something Taylor wouldn’t be able to do publicly. The same went for Matty Healy before they publicly went out.
She can’t be with someone without having the public’s approval.
So being with someone who was also brand-approved, who wasn’t Joe, had Taylor going, “finally.”
My source also said that Taylor and Travis's relationship was flourishing because they got together in the middle of his Super Bowl runs and her tour.

According to my source, Travis was seriously considering retiring in 2024, but when sports fans called him out for “getting fat and lazy,” he decided to extend his time.

Now more than ever, there is talk about Travis retiring, but my source says he doesn’t want his last season to be one of his worst, and Patrick Mahomes being out isn’t helping his case to retire.
“He’s probably going to retire, but I think he’s gonna stay for another year or two first. Patrick is out, and it wasn’t like their last season was their best one. He doesn’t wanna go out with a bad season, and he’d rather extend it and end the season with Patrick, who’s their star player.” —my source

My source says Travis’ retirement era will test their relationship because they haven’t lived together for more than three weeks at a time due to their busy schedules.
Before we jump into what will make or break Travis and Taylor, here’s some side tea about the NFL trying to capitalize on this all-American love story.
My source says that the military works hand in hand with Hollywood and the NFL. The US government and Hollywood work hand in hand because they work together to promote propaganda. Hollywood writes the story, and the government lets them borrow any military props they need.
Hollywood loves to film movies that are related to wars, aircraft, and military bases. The military will even allow filmmakers and actors to film on real military bases, using real weapons. The military also helps with funding a movie. Some movies that don’t want military input but still wanna use war plots risk their funding/support being pulled back.
“The US Army needs people, especially young adults, so they’ll have the NFL promote the military. The NFL would LOVE to capitalize on Taylor & Travis, but they haven’t been able to do so because that’s not something that interests Taylor. The NFL and Taylor still have a good relationship because of how much attention she was bringing them during game season, and even let Taylor use their stadiums for free/discounted prices.” — my source
Basically, Taylor doesn’t want to be used politically and as we can see, many celebrities today are being aligned with political figures. She doesn’t care to look like a “WAG.”
When it comes to Taylor and her new crowd’s political beliefs, many are concerned.
Taylor Swift’s Friendship with Brittany Mahomes
Brittany Mahomes is the perfect example of a successful career woman who is credited with redefining what it means to be a WAG (wives & girlfriends of successful athletes).
Brittany is the wife of Travis’s best friend and the star player of the team, Patrick Mahomes.
Brittany’s political controversy comes after liking Donald Trump’s reelection campaign post in 2024. She also "liked" other comments supporting the Trump-Vance campaign.
When she got backlash for doing this, she posted on her Instagram story stating that adults holding on to hate likely have "deep-rooted issues" from childhood, and later posted about the ability to have differing views while still being kind.
To make matters worse, Donald Trump weighs in on her support, calling her beautiful and saying he hates Taylor.
The whole friendship has rubbed fans the wrong way, and there’s been a huge question mark about Taylor and the friends she keeps around.
I guess it’s a good thing Taylor likes her friends cancelled!
Taylor and Brittany are actually friends, according to my source.
My source also says that Brittany’s friendship with Taylor was pushed by Travis and Patrick’s strong bond.
“Travis and Patrick are very good friends, even opening up a steakhouse together [1587 Prime]. Brittany was pushed onto Taylor. Double-dates, dating/marrying within the same team, supporting them at the shows, etc., Taylor didn’t necessarily want or care to be friends with Brittany, but Patrick, and Brittany practically are part of the package deal when it comes to dating Travis.” —my source
My source says that Taylor is always willing to give a friendship a shot, although she tends to abandon many friendships.

Travis and Taylor’s Post-Wedding
Although Taylor is keeping all info about her wedding on lockdown, my sources predict a couple of things about the wedding and their relationship afterward.
My source says that 2026-2027 will be a massive transitional period for the two of them.
We already talked about how hard the retirement adjustment is going to be for Travis.
He’s going to go from working out 4 hours a day everyday to suddenly becoming a couch potato. That’s not something both Taylor and Travis have explored in their relationship because, as mentioned previously, their entire relationship revolved around their work schedules. They never really dated while they weren’t working.
“After the wedding, Travis and Taylor will probably live in one of her many houses and start traveling for a bit together.” — my source
My source said that during the Eras Tour and Travis’ NFL run, the most they consistently lived together for was about 3 weeks. That was at the peak of their relationship.
So right now, while preparing for the wedding and living together, it’s been the longest they’ve been consistently at a place at a time.
My source predicts that the Taylor and Travis wedding will be monetized and that Taylor is cooking up a deal with Disney.
“Taylor is increasing her partnership with Disney, and I can only imagine she will try to make a deal with them to monetize her wedding. What I’m hearing is that she’s interested in having a ‘Taylor’s Universe’ type of deal with Disney.” —my source

One thing my sources are noting about the wedding is that it will be huge with attendees, many of them being Hollywood A- listers.

“She needs a break, and she needs to stop relying on the attention from her relationships because Showgirl was completely rushed… She is currently not working on an album.” —my source
The backlash she got from the Showgirl album lowkey woke her up, and she was more bothered than she let on.
