Let's chat! An update: what happened to our Instagram and upcoming new posts that you can expect
You know, it feels like it’s been a hot minute since I wrote a blog post. Oh my god I have missed you guys. First of all, let’s do a quick check in with each other. I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to you and you tell me how you’re doing!
Alana and I have been busy with uh… adventures. Certain things happening in our lives. Obviously we’re not doing too much because the coronavirus pandemic is STILL A THING. Honestly, it’s getting worse here. I think we’re approaching phase 2. Hopefully, you all are staying safe and healthy.
About a week ago, our Instagram (exposingsmgblog) got disabled without a reason and without a warning. Hmm, what does this remind us of? Oh yeah! When Tumblr deleted our ask box without reason. “Well, how do you know it’s without reason?” Because when I get the accounts back, the email literally states “mistakenly disabled.” And that’s what happened with our Instagram.
I am quite active on Instagram and if you don’t follow us there, you should because I post tea recaps and sometimes reveal exclusive information there FIRST. I’m not on IG every day so I didn’t even realize that my IG has been disabled.
ESMG’s audience is interesting because we have a huge group of followers on every social media platform and y’all are literally DIFFERENT. There’s only the select few that follow us on every platform and are up to date with what we post on youtube, this blog, twitter, Instagram, and etc.. We love you regardless! But…. not many of you realized that our Instagram was disabled (ouch). I accidentally logged onto IG from my computer and was like “HUH?”
Basically, Instagram disabled my account and they told me to input my information so they can review it and they’ll get back to me in 24 hours. That didn’t happen. However, I took certain measures behind the scenes and I got my Instagram account back.
Instagram emailed us an automated apology when they reactivated our account.
Yeah, Instagram… that was an inconvenience.
And that’s when it dawned me. Out of everyone I expose, who is out to censor me the most? Selena Gomez — hold your laughter. Yeah yeah, I know that some of you are rolling your eyes and saying “why would Selena care” which is funny because it’s been proven several times that she had tried to shut this account down and failed.
Whether that was with the askfm days, our viral tumblr posts getting deleted without warning, our tumblr ask, and notably our TWITTER, it’s clear that there is one person behind it.
The funny part is, it’s public information that Selean’s team had tried to shut down my twitter account several times throughout the years.
This ain’t the only reason I believe it was Selena.
Selena publicly dmed Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook which owns Instagram) about taking down certain accounts and then suddenly the day after, my account got deleted.
Interesting.
I’ve been known from my sources that Selena and her team have sent their fair share of threats and censorship down my path the past couple of years, but the fact that it’s kind of obvious what they’re doing in PUBLIC is what’s interesting to me.
I mean I literally have her team on public record admitting to contacting Twitter several times to get my account removed and them saying we are doing nothing wrong. I guess because Selena thought she’s all buddy-buddy with the CEO, she can pull this crap.
You guys can cry about it from today until next week, but the tea is, I don’t violate any rules on social media nor do I violate any laws. Don’t get me wrong—I CAN. You think I don’t want to leak hard evidence (photos, videos, sounds) and get little stans on my side? It’s as easy as me writing this post, but I’m not stupid. This isn’t why I’m doing this. That isn’t the reason why I run this website.
On the other hand, censorship and disabling my right to free speech is what’s illegal.
Your opinion and your personal thoughts of this blog are just that—an opinion. Not a fact.
So whether or not Selena and her team were behind the reason that my Instagram was disabled for like a week, this censorship is NOT CUTE. And it’s not something I will stand for nor tolerate happening.
I filter myself on social media platforms to abide by their community guidelines so I’m sorry if I don’t like it when I get my accounts disabled to make it easy to manipulate the audience.
So that’s that.
We got our Instagram back and if it was Selena behind it, and I know this message will get to her, I suggest you pipe down. We barely talk about you nowadays. And just like I kept my promise to make this blog explode if my Tumblr posts kept getting deleted, I’ll keep other promises.
MOVING ON!!!
What’s next for this blog? Who are we writing about next? What’s the tea?
It’s the questions y’all have been bombarding me with!
Demi Lovato stans aka Lovatics (I love you guys), yall have asked for a youtube video exposing Max Ehrich’s (Demi’s homeless ex) antics. That is coming! It will be up this week :) my youtube audience has also been attacking me because I haven’t been posting so uhh… don’t worry.
Demi and Max have been the hot topic as of late so that’s all we posted about the past few weeks. I know you guys want a posting schedule again so we’re going to get to that.
As always, I need your help. We publish what you want to read so in the comments down below, let me know! What do you NEED next? What are the hot topics that we’ve been promising that we have forgotten about? Pls, guide your sisters here at ESMG Inc.
Another thing I wanted to say is, many of you have reached out on different platforms and thanked us for keeping you entertained, informed, awake, and being an escape for you. You guys don’t know how much those emails/messages/comments/etc. mean to us. We try our best to reply to everyone because we genuinely care about everyone that reads this blog, but we are happy to know that we can provide a safe space for you guys to go beyond the barriers of exposing the industry and confide in us as friends and family.
This was one long update but it was needed.
We love you guys! Comment down below your thoughts on our Instagram being disabled — was it my arch enemy Selena (LMAOOO) or could it have been a genuine mistake? How are you all doing? And what posts/videos do you need to see next? You can comment anonymously so take advantage of that! We will be replying back!
P.S. sorry if I always switch from “I” to “we” LOL. Obviously I am writing this post, but at the end of the day, I speak for both us and we both answer the comments.
