Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are your modern-day “old money” love story. When it comes to this theme, I have yet to see a young celebrity marriage that falls under this category as well as Brooklyn and Nicola.

The pair wed on April 9th, 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida after being engaged for almost two years. Brooklyn proposed to Nicola on July 11th, 2020. The wedding was absolutely stunning and it seemed like a modern day fairy tale come true.

You have Nicola, a beautiful film star with a family net worth of three billion dollars:

And then you have Brooklyn, a handsome young man home to one of Britain’s most famous families, The Beckhams.

Hollywood is definitely anything but glamorous and this works exceptionally well when you throw a clueless boy with a smart devious girl, into the mix. Nicola and Brooklyn have been in the press for quite some time now. While the whole internet was gushing over their stunning wedding, we all noticed some hostility between Nicola’s in-laws, Victoria and David Beckham.

As always all information is according to a source, unless stated otherwise.

Why Do People Think Nicola and The Beckhams Have Beef?

Here are the public facts.

When Nicola and Brooklyn decided to get married they also decided to combine BOTH their names. So instead of Nicola being Nicola Beckham, she is Nicola Peltz Beckham and Brooklyn is Brooklyn Peltz Beckham. It’s also unusual for the man to hyphenate his name after marriage.

This seems to be something Brooklyn’s parents are publicly turned off by. When it was time to congratulate their eldest son and his new bride on their wedding, both Victoria and David completely IGNORED the chosen surname and decided to congratulate them both as “Brooklyn and Nicola Beckham.” Completely ignoring the name Peltz.

Now, this would make sense if Peltz was some loser family name, but the Peltz family is actually richer than the Beckham family by almost 3x the amount. The Beckhams are worth over 600 million dollars, while the Peltz family is worth almost three BILLION dollars.

So yes, while we can applaud Nicola on her…. acting career, we must keep one fact in the back of our minds, which is Nicola acts the way she does because she has a BILLIONAIRE as her father, Nelson Peltz.

Now let’s not skip to the fun part just yet.

So far we have Victoria and David very obviously rolling their eyes at the addition of the Peltz family name in the surnames, then we have Nicola choosing to cut off the Beckhams in her two heavy Instagram posts.

She has captioned it, “Family is everything to me” while coincidentally leaving out Brooklyn’s entire family.

And before that, she posted another photo dump captioned, “Friday Night” while also leaving out Brooklyn’s entire family.

There were also reports from Duexmoi that when Marc Anthony came up on stage to make a toast, he did not mention Nicola or her family at all. He also then dedicated a song for Victoria Beckham and Brooklyn which caused Nicola to run off crying while her family ran after her.

According to that source, Nicola did not come back until the after-party and there was notable tension between the Beckhams and Peltzs as they didn’t really interact the whole night.

These are not confirmed reports but the tension is definitely there between both families. I can see something like this happening, I mean Nicola isn’t really the greatest person on Earth and only her acting coach and stylist holding speeches for her seems like something that would happen to her.

Only veteran readers remember what we used to expose during our old Ask days (ignore the fact that Angela couldn’t recall if her name was Peltz or Lentlz… like what lol)

Back to the story.

While these news were circling around, there were other reports saying that the Beckhams weren’t really involved in the whole wedding.

They were not placed on the main family table because Nicola’s family, which includes her ten siblings, took up the entire seating arrangement leaving the Beckhams to be thrown elsewhere.

The funny thing about Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding is that it was held on Peltz property. Her Billionaire father, Nelson has an estate in Palm Beach that costs about $103 million dollars. So yeah, I can see Nicola calling the shots because daddy is a billionaire and the wedding took place on THEIR property.

Highlighting more public information:

Nicola’s family crashed her honeymoon with Brooklyn in the south of France while the Beckhams vacationed in Croatia.
Victoria Beckham designed her own dress and other celebrities’ dresses for the wedding while ignoring Nicola who opted for Valentino, Versace, and Dior.
Nicola laughed at the suggestion that she and Brooklyn are drawing inspiration from David and Victoria’s wedding. She told Vogue, “their wedding was incredible, and the pictures were iconic, but the wedding we were most inspired by was Iman and David Bowie’s.”

The Stories People Tell Behind Closed Doors

If you have been keeping up with Nicola and the Beckhams you would know that in the past, Victoria Beckham spoke about Nicola in a very polite and pleasing way. When Brooklyn proposed to Nicola in 2020, Victoria said “we couldn’t have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady…. she is just wonderful…we love her.”

I’m guessing in 2020, the Beckhams and Nicola got along just fine but later down the line issues started arising.

Let’s start with Brooklyn Beckham

This is what my source had to say when asked about Brooklyn.

“Brooklyn is your typical celebrity offspring. He has no idea what he wants to do in life. It’s something his family talks to him about, a lot. He feels a certain pressure coming from them because he doesn’t wanna be in their shadow but he also doesn’t have much faith or passion in pursuing a career in anything. His family has a lot of opinions about him and what he should do.” - my source

My source also says that he constantly complains about having the last name “Beckham.” He feels like it puts an insane amount of pressure on him and “boxes him in.” Which is another reason he decided to take on the Peltz last name.

“He thinks by being ‘Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’, he can create something of his own, like his own identity, and work up from there. He and Nicola have had many talks about being a power couple and influencing today’s culture. But that’s what it’s really about. They wanna market themselves as a brand which is the main reason they combined their last names. ” - my source

So what you really have to know about Brooklyn is that he’s the definition of when a celebrity offspring doesn’t really have a passion for anything but also isn’t escaping the pressure from his family, which oftentimes makes him feel trapped and as if he has no choice but to climb out of his parents’ shadow.

Just by looking at the Beckhams and the Peltzs, you can tell there is a cultural difference. The Beckhams are more old-fashioned and believe in working yourself up to the top, which my sources say is an accurate description of their family. It’s also another reason why Brooklyn can’t just “model” his way to the top. They expect more of him and he also doesn’t take modeling as his passion.

The Peltz family is much more modern and believes in funding dreams rather than building dreams. I highly doubt David Beckham is gonna fund one of Brooklyn’s 12-second hobbies as easily as Nelson Peltz would. And that’s the difference.

Brooklyn shows no real passion for certain hobbies and his parents hold him accountable for that while Nicola and her mother run the Peltz household and are on the same page of funding the “Peltz-Beckham” brand.

From these circumstances, Brooklyn is obviously growing distant from his family, who he feels “trap him in.” In comparison to his daddy-in-law who is just like “what does Nicola think :-), oh she likes it? I like it too then my boy!”

It’s easy to feel supported when you have someone thinking for you and working WITH you and that’s what Nicola does for Brooklyn.

We will talk about Nicola and how she influences Brooklyn in a little bit, but I asked my source about Victoria Beckham, and here’s what she had to say.

Victoria Beckham

“Victoria Beckham is a legend, of course, she has a pretty impressive career and I know she loves her family deeply. I think she takes Brooklyn way too seriously and wants him to carry on the family name in a way that’s gonna make her and David proud of him. But like I said, Brooklyn doesn’t really have a passion for working a career, he’ll complain about his last name and the insecurities it gives him while benefiting from the privilege of being a Beckham. There’s not much to it that I know but I know Victoria can sometimes fall under “toxic mother-in-law” where sometimes nothing is good enough for her. She is deeply hurt that Brooklyn moved out to go live in Beverly Hills, I guess she’s trying to get over that but she blames Nicola a lot because Nicola sort of controls Brooklyn.”

My source also says that what’s being reported in the news is true in a general description but apparently a lot more is happening behind closed doors and she says “the media is focusing on making it seem like it’s Nicola vs. Victoria and David but it’s really both families colliding, not just daughter-in-law, mother-in-law drama.”

Nicola is an interesting one though because there was one key detail I knew about her in 2016 and it was that she is a menace.

I remember when Nicola was hanging around Justin Bieber in 2016 and I asked one of my sources at the time for information about her. I thought she was some random model he picked up, I didn’t know till I spoke to my source that her family has billions of dollars. I revealed this on an old ask box but I said that I didn’t like her at all because she was apparently a well-known menace.

My source at the time said Nicola was heartless to the staff who worked in her house.

“A few years ago when she was about 15 or 14 she was completely horrible to the people who worked in her house. It’s like she got a high off watching people be miserable. For about a year she would have servants and butlers doing dehumanizing tasks just for the fun of it. I don’t know what she would do exactly but I remember hearing that it made people suicidal working over there. What she did to the maids was horrible, she would make them work their hardest only to have them fired by the end of the week.” - my source

I remember this sooooo vividly, especially because I remember thinking “who the hell does she think she is” and to my shock…. a billionaire’s daughter!

I’ve heard people and reports say that Nicola has turned into a wonderful mature young adult but something about the way she treated maids will always send chills up my spine. It gives off ‘little child who kills puppies’ energy.

It’s not like Nicola was “a little devious” and then grew into this mature sweet adult. She got over 50 maids fired after making them do hard labor just because she enjoyed that power. Can you imagine being that sick and twisted at 14 years old?

I’m not surprised Victoria Beckham isn’t her biggest fan, it only took her a few years before realizing, “this girl is running the sh!t out of my son and he’s too stupid to notice.”

Nicola Peltz is your average spoiled girl. She’s high class, rich, whiny, and manipulative.

She’ll tell Brooklyn what to do but she has him under the idea that these are his choices.

Picture it as something like, “Your family just doesn’t understand you the way my family does. We’ll always have your back and we’ll show anyone who has ever doubted you. Which is why I really think we should…. *insert whatever she wants him to do**”

How Does Nicola Feel About Brooklyn?

I think Nicola loves Brooklyn and truly wants to be with him. Their relationship is as genuine as anything else in Hollywood, which I guess isn’t saying much. Nicola likes to be in control and she likes to feel powerful; as we can see with her making the staff’s life hell back when she was younger.

Nicola pushes Brooklyn around because he doesn’t have any ambition in life, or at least he doesn’t have the ambition to do what his parents want from him. Nicola has him under the impression that he’s in control when in reality, she’s the one holding the cards.

“Nicola is smart, definitely smarter than Brooklyn, but she cares about him a lot. What I’ve been hearing and seeing is that Nicola and Brooklyn wanna be this huge celebrity it-couple. Like modern-day Beyonce and Jay Z except in more couture culture. She likes to feel classy especially because she grew up in a sophisticated world. Her name might not be plastered all over headlines but she grew up living more lavishly than your average day celebrity. She’s definitely power-hungry and controlling. Nicola enjoys the power she has over Brooklyn and she likes knowing that he’s at odds with his family by constantly choosing her.” - my source

My source also tells me that Nicola is always telling Brooklyn that he can do whatever he wants and she and HER family will always be by his side, throwing shade at the Beckhams who are down his throat about what career moves to take.

Which is why you’ll randomly have Brooklyn shouting out his father in law and Nicola in interviews playing the “I just love how much the important men in my life get along :-)”

But behind closed doors, my source has told me that sometimes Nicola views Brooklyn as foolish and aloof and when he got “Peltz” tatted on his chest, she wasn’t that amused.

I have a feeling this won’t be the last time we will be talking about Brooklyn and Nicola and if anything, this story will keep unraveling. This is why I sent off my sources to focus on anything relating to Nicola and Brooklyn because it seems as if this family feud might actually make it to the media faster than we think.
