Demi Lovato debuts a new boyfriend... here's the tea

Our dear Demetria has found herself in a new relationship with this musician boyfriend… according to People Magazine.

The insider told People that "It's a really happy and healthy relationship. He's a super great guy."

Now right off the bat, I’m like this is unusual for Demi to have her publicists debut her relationship. She usually shoves it down our throats on Instagram first… which she didn’t do this time.

All she’s been posting is about her upcoming album Holy Fvck and she’s been looking really great.

So I expressed my concerns on Twitter… did Demi Lovato finally get into a PRelationship to spice up her dying image?

I also made sure to specify where my feelings are coming from since I don’t wanna throw you guys off guard

So I spoke to my source because if I’m gonna be honest with you guys… I didn’t know Demi was seeing anyone.

According to them, Demi has been dating someone behind the scenes but it’s been very lowkey. Apparently, this relationship stems back a few months and she’s taking it slow.

Can I just say… kudos to you Demi

All I’ve been complaining about for the past year is how Demi moves on too fast in relationships, is always in your face with something, doesn’t let ANYTHING marinate, and therefore she always has to answer for her crimes since she livestreams every bypassing thought.

So for her to be in this secret relationship that not even I heard about until I literally asked, it’s… it’s character growth.

A lot of fans are speculating on who this mystery man is and they’ve come to the conclusion that it’s this artist that Demi has been hanging around… Jutes.

They follow each other on Instagram and he definitely fits into the rocker vibe that Demi is currently adopting.

He’s also listed as one of the writers for Substance, Demi’s new song.

Which he wrote a really sweet message on Instagram to which Demi commented on…

So what made you think this was a PR?

I’m glad you asked!

If you don’t know, celebrity publicists work hand in hand with the media. Sites like E! News, People, US Weekly, etc., are all sites that sources like to say are “in the back pocket of celebrity teams.”

And when they’re ready to release the info… they do

Why would this be treated as a PR (I’m not saying it is)? Well if the article talks about this new beau, guess how they’re gonna end it?

“And she has her new album coming out on August 19 and the tour is set to start on blah blah blah”

Go do the research yourself. Every mainstream article that talks about this relationship ENDS IT WITH A PARAGRAPH ON THE HOLY FVCK ALBUM. This isn’t bad by any means considering this is proper protocol so I’m not shocked that’s why they chose to release the news now.

Is this a fake relationship? Nah.

So for the Lovatics who are crying on Twitter saying “Leave Demi alone! She’s finally happy! This source is lying! Demi clean out your circle! She doesn’t even promote her music you think she’s gonna tell us about her relationship?”

These insiders that are referenced by the mainstream media are LITERALLY YOUR FAVE’S PUBLICIST.

Obviously, this isn’t the case if the source is telling us a celebrity is snorting cocaine or cheating on their partner, but the general rule for sources and mainstream media is that it’s usually the celebrity themselves or their publicist—whom the celebrity is communicating through.

So of course when I know all this information and I see that People is randomly reporting on Demi’s mystery man boyfriend without telling us their name and without having anything else to say except “she’s in a happy healthy relationship” I’m like…

Then after I talk to a source and clarify these deets, I can finally

Anyway, the timing of the article is released with a purpose — they are trying to make Demi relevant somehow, especially with the album about to drop in less than 2 weeks, and may God help Demi because those sales aren’t looking too hot.

That’s another thing, her team is worried about the album’s performance. I mean she’s already performing at theaters after having a sold-out worldwide tours and they don’t think the album is going to have a pretty debut on Billboard.

So what do they do?

Tell us that Demi has a boyfriend!

Going back to Demi dating Jutes…

They’ve been vacationing together and hanging out a lot, but Demi never confirmed the relationship or posted him the way you would assume from her track record.

Why? What is she trying to hide?

Well, 2 things. The first story comes from my source and the second, from you guys.

My source tells me that it’s probably very likely that she didn’t want to open up about his relationship when it happened considering the whole pronoun drama.

Demi recently came on the Spout podcast and talked about how she has also adopted she/her pronouns because she’s in more feminine energy right now… mind you… she said all this while stuttering and fighting for her life to make sense so obviously people were like “… yeah this crazy woman doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”

Now listen, you guys—readers, Demi fans, Demi herself—we can sit here and try to defend Demi and beg the world to listen to her side and explain her pronouns and talk about how gender identity is no one else’s business, but you have to understand this…

DEMI IS ANNOYING.

Her likability factor has gone down the toilet and that’s why the general public doesn’t have the patience to sympathize with her.

If I—yes esmg, me, someone who has gone viral telling Demi’s side of the story and working overtime with sources to get people to see it from her side—can also see where people are coming from, that’s how you know it’s bad.

So for Demi to be like “I’M JUST TOO GAY TO DATE A MAN HEHEHEHE” and be LOUD with everything, and then she debuts dating a man after adopting she/her pronouns, OF COURSE people are gonna be like “sHUT THE FCK UP.”

Especially when she goes on these “I’m gay!!!!” tangents when she hates men. I will die on the hill that the only reason Demi did all the sh!t because she was embarrassed and ashamed of herself for letting a conman like Max Ehrich into her life.

Everything she did afterward was in retaliation. You guys don’t remember her engagement caption? Her heart was fckin broken after that. She went from “when I was a little girl my birth dad always called me his little partner… but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.”

Like I said, she’s embarrassed so she turned herself into everything OPPOSITE that she was with him…

God… that loser ruined the DWTD era!!! Now we’re gonna be forever stuck in the art of re-re-re-restarting over!!!!

And you guys can cry and scream about how “no one cares what people think!!” but when Demi’s sales are down the toilet, then maybe we should have found a way for Demi to appeal to the general public.

uhh she kinda does. No artist wants to flop for their work. Sure Demi went through a more “I need to be commercially successful” phase back in 2015-2017 where she adopted the popstar persona (and it worked!), but it’s looking like there’s not gonna be a return on investment on this rock project.

don’t get me wrong, I love rock Demi. Idc about sales and all that sh!t, but we’re talking about the obvious decline here

So yeah… Demi and the general public? Not friends!

Me? I love Demi. She’s like your annoying talented cousin with a really big heart. I’ll always support her… but my God does she make it hard sometimes

Now here’s the other fan theory.

Apparently, Demi has kept this relationship under wraps because Jutes was in a long-term relationship with Mya Sheffield and as soon as they broke up, Demi and Jutes started dating.

Here’s Jutes and Mya in August 2021…

And they were just together in April 2022

So apparently they broke up and he got with Demi right away…

Or during… I don’t know.

Like I said, it’s a fan theory. You guys let me know what you think.

So that’s what’s going on in Demi Land right now.

Obviously I’m happy for Demi if she found a nice guy or whatever, but as fans, you can’t even be mad that people are concerned or even annoyed by her.

I will give credit where it’s due so I can appreciate that she’s taking this relationship slow—if it even goes anywhere, and she’s acting like a legit celebrity by having her publicists release the news on her behalf.

Maybe then she can rebuild the reputation that she singlehandedly destroyed for herself (fight with yourselves about this). Hopefully by then, their relationship debut on Instagram can crack a million likes. My homegirl hasn’t seen that number in a while.
