The Truth Behind Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers’ Fallout: Secret Flings? Marriages (Priyanka Chopra), management, betrayal, and more exposed!

Demi Lovato has had a strong relationship and friendship with the Jonas Brothers since they met when they filmed Camp Rock in 2007—that is until their fallout. For those of you who don’t know, the Jonas Brothers consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. This post will mainly address Demi’s fallout with Joe and Nick, since Kevin has been married since the beginning of his fame, so therefore he wasn’t really involved in any of this drama.
This is a very complicated story with many different factors, but I will try to explain it to the best of my ability. Everything is strictly according to a source unless otherwise stated.
Back in July 2019, we discussed this fallout very briefly in our tell all revealed.
But today, we are here to expose all of the details.
There are three prominent key factors in the fallout of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. They are:
sharing the same management team
Wilmer Valderrama—Demi’s abusive ex.
package deals that end up going to hell
It’s important to note that the Jonas Brothers and Demi shared the same manager—Phil Mcintyre, up until 2018 when Demi dropped him. This is important for the fallout for later on.
Background Information
While filming Camp Rock, Demi and Joe started dating for a couple of years. Some people speculated this was a PR at one point, but with all the facts I know, I would say it was a real relationship that had the benefit of being marketed since they were each other’s love interests in the movie. Whether or not they were dating, the directors and producers would have marketed it that way since it’s all business.
I didn’t think that saying they dated from 2008-2010 would trigger you guys as much as it did, but apparently people only believe they dated in 2010. Wrong. In Demi and Nick’s 2016 Billboard cover story, Nick says, “for a couple of years there was the Joe and Demi romantic thing, so I'd be this emotional bridge for them.” Therefore proving that they did indeed date for a couple of years.
Demi also writes on her first album (which we’ll get to in a moment) about how “Gonna Get Caught” was about how she thought Joe was a player.
The only reason they tried not to bring attention to their relationship as much (despite both their reps confirming they dated for 2 years) was because Demi was UNDERAGE. Joe was 19 years old in 2008 and Demi was 16. So please, fact check before trying to come at me and claim that my timeline is wrong.

After the release of the Camp Rock in 2008, Demi and the Jonas Brothers blew up to stardom. Demi ended up touring with them in 2009 and was supporting them throughout the release of their film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.

In 2008, Demi released her debut studio album, “Don’t Forget,” in which Demi called for the brothers to help her write the album since she would always lean towards intense lyrics and they helped her write fun and catchy lyrics. The four of them were listed as the main writers of the album.
The brothers and Demi were instantly huge after Camp Rock, to the point where each of them got their own show on Disney Channel.
Demi was the star of “Sonny With A Chance” and the brothers starred in a show that was based on their real life success, called “JONAS.”
In 2009, both Demi and the Jonas Brothers released extremely successful albums. Demi released “Here We Go Again” which was her first #1 album and it made her one of the youngest to achieve that milestone on Billboard. The Jonas Brothers released “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times” which was their second #1 album after 2008’s “A Little Bit Longer.”
Then in 2010, Camp Rock 2 was released due to the crazy amount of success that the first one garnered.

This is the year where things start going downhill…
After dating from 2008 to 2010, Demi and Joe broke up that year in June, citing problems with dealing with a public relationship.
In November 2010, Demi left the tour with the Jonas Brothers because things started getting really bad for her in which she states, “I distanced myself as I was getting involved with self-destructive things." Demi was struggling with mental health issues such as depression and bipolar disorder, drug addiction, an eating disorder, and more. She even punched a backup dancer which is said to the be the reason Demi had an intervention, saying that she is taking “100 percent, full responsibility" for the incident and then went to rehab for a couple of months.
“JONAS” got canceled after two seasons due to low viewers while “Sonny With A Chance” got renewed for a third season due to its success, but Demi’s personal issues didn’t allow her to return back to the show. It ended up turning into a spin-off called “So Random,” but it didn’t do so good so it got canceled after Demi's departure.
Demi later said that she couldn’t talk to Nick for a while until she was sober and not so embarrassed of her past to speak to him.
This is where things start to shift…..
With Justin Bieber coming on the scene in 2010, nobody cared for another “JB” beside him. Before you knew it, the Jonas Brothers and Demi switched places in fame.
Demi was the bigger star and suddenly the Jonas Brothers started to become irrelevant.
In 2009, Nick started a band called “Nick Jonas & The Administration” which didn’t exactly do so well, despite the album debuting at #3 on Billboard. Kevin went on to have a reality TV show with his wife in 2012, which no one really talks about. In 2011, Joe released his first debut studio album, “Fastlife,” which didn’t crack the top 10 on Billboard and his debut solo single, “See No More,” charted at #92 on Billboard.
Demi came out of rehab in January 2011 and this is the year where she started to blow up as a solo star and without any involvement with Disney Channel. Demi’s comeback to music was with the release of “Skyscraper” which became an instant success, becoming a top ten platinum hit.
The Jonas Brothers continued fading because One Direction hit it big in 2012 so everyone had the band that they were stanning. They tried to come back in 2013 with a song called “Pom Poms,” (which I was obsessed with, but it seemed like I was the only one), but the song failed to break the top 50 on Billboard. From 2013 to 2019, their official hiatus as a band started. Kevin continued doing his own things while Nick and Joe tried to break out in the solo world.
This little section where Demi and the Jonas Brothers switch fame levels is VERY important and plays a crucial role in the future fallout of Demi and the Jonas Brothers.
Now I should introduce another member to this story: Wilmer Valderrama.
Demi and Wilmer
What does Wilmer have to do with the Jonas Brothers? Oh.. you’ll see.
Demi and Wilmer started dating from 2010 until 2016. Yes, Wilmer was dating Demi while she was still underage. It’s not like she was 17 and he was 19. No.. she was 17 and he was THIRTY.
I honestly don’t hate many celebrities. Even the people my readers think I hate, I really don’t. I just like dragging them (Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez). But I can wholeheartedly say: I hate Wilmer Valderrama.
He’s like the sleazeball of Hollywood. He’s slept with everyone and led to the destruction of every girl that he got in touch with.
Back in 2014/2015, I got information on the truth about Demi and Wilmer. That was the year I found out that Demi wasn’t sober like she was saying she was (she confirmed this in 2018 don’t test me). I wasn’t planning on releasing that information because I was told no to. I was also told that TMZ allegedly got ahold of Wilmer and Demi’s sex tape, but couldn’t expose it since she was a literal minor and it would be considered child pornography. Yep, I’ve never revealed that detail until now.
I don’t think any celebrity scarred me as much as Demi did which why I didn’t post about that until everything came to light in 2016 and they broke up. Demi is a celebrity that I know the most about and I usually know a lot more than I let on. Just like I knew in 2017 she was dating that DJ, Lauren-something, but I never revealed it until she did.
ANYWAYS….. Demi and Wilmer had one of the most toxic and disgusting and abusive relationships I’ve EVER heard of. I won’t get into that, but you should read their post down below because it plays a role in Demi’s friendship with the Jonas brothers.
We’ll get back to Wilmer in a moment, but let’s talk about Nick and Joe’s careers after the band went on hiatus.
So Demi started becoming an extremely successful star and she went onto establish herself as a household name. She became a judge on X-Factor USA in 2012-2013. In 2012, she invited Nick as a guest mentor with her on the show.

Their first time seeing each other ever since Demi left the tour in 2010, was when Nick went to see Demi perform at The Greek in 2012, and ended up performing a few songs with her. Nick said that it was a very emotional reunion because he felt like he got his best friend back.
They didn’t really reunite again until 2014. In 2014, Nick starts getting a little bit of traction as a solo artist. He released his self-titled second studio album which charted at #6 on Billboard and garnered two top 15 hits.
Reminder: Demi is still dating that gremlin Wilmer at this time. Also, 2013 was a very hard year for Demi. Not many people know about this because she never really talked about it, but Demi was struggling so bad with body image issues, her mental health took a turmoil once again, and my source said that was one of the years where she badly relapsed—citing that Wilmer worsened everything times 10.

Demi wasn’t exactly her thinnest during this time and Wilmer let her know that. Why do you think they were barely photographed during this time? But when Demi became very thin during late 2014-2016, suddenly Wilmer was photographed with her every second of the day.
Demi told Bella magazine in 2013 that, “If you’re around [drugs and alcohol] long enough, you’ll get dragged into those things … So I don’t put myself in those situations.” But who puts themselves in that situation? Oh right.. Wilmer who out cheating on her every night and partying with other women. While Demi was talking about her abuse struggles that week in Chicago, Wilmer was taking a boys trip to Vegas with none other than…… Joe Jonas.
Onlookers there said, “He [Wilmer] mingled with even more fair-haired hotties at the Planet Hollywood Pleasure pool, where he shared a table stocked with drinks with Joe Jonas and girls lucky enough to be invited to their table.” I’m going to get in Wilmer’s relationship with Joe in a moment.
10 days before that… he was out furniture shopping with Demi.
I’d also like to note that Demi was a grown adult in 2013 and she should have made smarter decisions especially when it came to associating with a well known partier (and cheater) like Wilmer. However, we should also note that it was an emotionally abusive relationship and it’s not exactly easy to get out when you correlate your happiness with them.
During this time, Demi and Wilmer would even go on double dates together. Here’s them in 2013 at a Kanye West concert.
So back to Demi’s struggling 2013 year, she didn’t really talk about this when she released “Sober” in 2018 because people believe that was the first time she broke her sobriety. No… it wasn’t. There were even reports in January 2012 where Demi was out partying with Wilmer and Joe at Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood. I already said in the Dilmer exposed that Demi was compelled to prove to Wilmer that she was still “fun” to be with even though her being in the partying scene hurt her sobriety… badly. But Demi wasn’t just going there to party, she was going there to make sure he also stays faithful. Again, it’s all explained in the Dilmer exposed post.
So I don’t think she’ll talk about this time period her life now because it was so long ago, but 2013 was really bad.
“Well, why didn’t you talk about it, Angela?” I didn’t know until I found out in late 2014 and early 2015. Plus, during those years I was too busy dragging Justin Bieber for his hidden drug issues. Also, I wasn’t going to expose the truth of Demi’s sobriety until I absolutely had to (aka in 2016 when I exposed Dilmer).
ANYWAAAAYS…. I told you this was complicated with many goddamn factors into it. I’m lowkey getting overwhelmed because I don’t have my source’s text messages to guide me as I write. I was told this part of the story over the phone by a close friend, or else I would have had the messages opened on the side as I write.
So in 2014, Nick and Demi’s shared manager—Phil, got the genius idea to market Demi in order to get Nick more relevant and famous, while then using her to arrange a Jonas reunion in the future.

Little by little, Demi became involved with Joe and Nick, and they were marketed as PR package together. In short, Phil used Demi’s established fame to bring back relevancy to Nick and Joe since they struggled to do so, after the band’s hiatus in 2013. Phil was also jumping on the nostalgia train which he centers around the Jonas Brothers completely in 2019-2020. Anyways, remember when I spoke about switching fame positions?

Demi was also on good terms with Joe and she even brought him out on her worldwide tour in October 2014, to sing their duet from Camp Rock.
Nick and Demi quickly became best friends again, despite being an unofficial PR package by their manager, Phil. You know how Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were friends but marketed as a friendship-PR before their full blown cringy-PR in 2019? This is what was happening between Nick and Demi. It’s similar in the sense that they were ALREADY FRIENDS.
I’m not dragging Phil nor Nick for this because this is a business tactic that’s often used. Take a look at Scooter Braun. Justin Bieber is his most successful client and he’s used him to push his other artists—Ariana Grande and Tori Kelly. He got Ariana to open up for Justin’s tour back in 2013 (just like Demi opened up for the Jonas Brothers in 2009) and he even used Justin’s impact to book Tori a performance slot at one of the award shows, saying that Justin will only perform if Tori does too. Again, all business.
So 2015 comes around and they start hanging out a lot more. Joe debuts with his new rock-band, DNCE, and they release “Cake by the Ocean” which went on to become a radio hit. Demi is already close to Nick and then she starts getting closer to Joe again. Demi continues being the bond in which the brothers form a very close to relationship to her boyfriend, Wilmer.
It’s said that the Joe met Wilmer through Demi since he was in her life since 2010. Joe and Wilmer weren’t exactly besties back in 2011, but they did pose together at events at whatnot. However, a close relationship was established in 2015.
December 2015 roles around and Demi goes on vacation with Wilmer, Joe, Nick, and etc.

Anyways, so they’re all chilling on vacation with Demi. You see the guy on far right next to Joe? Yeah, that’s Demi’s sober coach, Mike Bayer. Keep him in mind because I’m going to talk about him in a bit.
Demi probably paid for this whole trip LMAO, Wilmer was pretty broke too.
So a personal relationship is already established between Demi and the brothers, but now Wilmer is in the mix too.
Remember everything I said about what Wilmer did to Demi? Yeah… Joe and Nick knew all about it. I mean they hung out ALL of the time. Of course, they knew what was going on. My source tells me that they knew how drugged up Wilmer was and how he was emotionally abusive to Demi which contributed to her breakdown and her continuously running back to drugs. They knew about all of the cheating and all of the partying. You think when it was boys night out with the three of them, they went to report back to their dear old friend, Demi, about what her man was up to? Ha… nope!
Back to the business scheme of things.
2016 quickly became the year of Demi with Nick (and sometimes Joe).
Demi released her album “Confident” in 2015 and it ended up doing pretty well, debuting at #2 on Billboard which was her highest since “Here We Go Again.” Cool for the Summer and Confident (song) become pretty successful and before you knew it, there was talk to make Demi tour with Nick in 2016 so it can expose Nick to her mainstream audience, when he releases his album in June 2016.
June 3, 2016 rolls around and you know what happens? Demi and Wilmer announce they are BROKEN UP! I was so ecstatic to hear the news to the point where I published their entire messed up history the next day (which I already linked above).

Demi and Nick then announced that they are touring together for the “Future Now” tour.
The tour was depending SOLELY on Demi only to sell tickets and help bring Nick’s name out there because Nick released his album on June 10, but the tour started on June 29. That is 19 days! No one starts a tour 19 days after their album release especially when they didn’t know how well the album was going to do, since the last album didn’t do as well as they wanted.

At this point, Demi and Nick are doing EVERYTHING together. They even have a sexy photoshoot for Billboard.

I gotta say… they look amazing together. Truly a power couple.
We get the point, right? Demi and Nick were a package deal and they were everywhere together. However, it wasn’t just Nick. It was also Demi being seen with Joe’s new band, DNCE. P.S. DNCE had a different tour manager at the time, but I think they still had ties with Phil.

DNCE ends up dropping a studio album in 2016, but it flops—debuting at #17 on Billboard so they stick Joe with Demi as well so she can once again help market them back into relevance.
All of 2016 is spent with Demi and Nick performing together, attending events, having photoshoots together, touring, a bunch of interviews, and more. This is happening both in the US and internationally. Demi’s “Confident” era was basically Demi reviving Nick’s solo career—which is fine I guess.
DNCE couldn’t get another hit after Cake by the Ocean, so Demi, or rather I say Phil, invites them to the Future Now tour to perform. They ended up performing in both July and September. By the way, everyone knew that DNCE was going to last and that they were planning for a Jonas Brothers reunion in the future.
Joe and Demi also performed their duets from Camp Rock when the band came to perform in September.
Demi and DNCE were also interviewed together.
They didn’t just perform together, but Demi also attended events with them.

Demi also performed DNCE’s song “Toothbrush” with them at the Marrirot Rewards concert. Toothbrush peaked at #44 on Billboard by the way.
Even during Demi’s big Grammy night where she was nominated and performing, she was still hanging out with DNCE.
Overall, Demi was pretty supportive of DNCE and as we can tell from this little timeline, she was often promoting them since they were a relatively new band, with one lucky hit.
During this time, Joe continues maintaining a really close relationship with Wilmer even after him and Demi breakup.

DNCE and Demi’s appearances continue up until 2017 where she’s literally scheduled to play a JBL concert with them.
This is kind of where Demi’s little PR-package with both Nick and Joe ends. Up until 2017, they are good friends and are still being seen from time to time at events. Demi is even talking about them in interviews and sharing funny memories.
In September 2017, Demi released her new album “Tell Me You Love Me,” and the only time Nick is brought up is when she’s questioned about her song, Ruin the Friendship, and if it’s about Nick.
Nick and Demi’s Apparent Fling
On Ellen, she was asked about the rumors about her and Nick so she said, “You know, something that I will always keep to myself is who I write my songs about.” Ellen then says, “So it’s probably about him…” and Demi laughs.
The reason why people think it’s about him is because her song literally spells out “Nick Demi” at the end.
When another interviewer confronted her about the song, Demi was like no nobody knows who I’m talking about and then the interviewer said, “They think it’s about Nick Jonas” and she said “…. oh” awkwardly. You can watch the video down below.
As you can see in our video above, her song “Only Forever” also mentions lyrics that elute to their joint tour. She sings “I’ve been thinking about the FUTURE, I’ve been thinking about the NOW.”
Y’all ready for a plot twist? Just hold on.
Now look, popular to contrary belief, I’m an honest gal and I actually fear one thing when it comes to running this blog—lying. The truth will always get you somewhere, meanwhile lies will dig your grave for you. You don’t get this far with an “exposing blog” if you’re lying.
So I’m going to be honest: none of my sources were able to confirm or deny Nick and Demi’s rumored romance. I don’t know for sure know what happened between them on tour or if they hooked up (mainly because Demi never spoke about it to anyone).
However, based on what I know, I believe they hooked up and Demi fell for him… hard. The thing about Nick is that he’s genuinely a nice dude and I really can’t remember the last time that Demi had that. You know, he’s the “sensitive” one, the sweet one, the heartfelt one… and that’s what he’s been branded as all these years. So fresh off her breakup with Wilmer and all those nights on tour together, plus these lyrics from her album which was released the following year—aka reflecting on her past year, and you’re trying to tell me that they didn’t have something?
With Demi performing “Body Say” on tour every night… I’m sure something went on between her and Nick on those lonely nights on tour.
Also, in 2015 when he plays “Lips, Wife & Leave” during an interview, he said that he’d wife Demi. The other 2 choices? His exes, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.
Now here’s the plot twist.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra
In the July Tell All which I linked earlier in the post, I exposed that Nick Jonas and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, are what is known as in Hollywood as a “marriage PR.” Ah, little kids on social media probably don’t think it gets that far, huh? Oh it does. You should expect pregnancy news too. It’s what Priyanka wants (even though Nick is still eh on the idea). Relationships start empires in Hollywood. Kids are just part of the package deal.
And the funny part about Nick and Priyanka is that they ain’t really getting along. But whatever.
One of my Demi sources actually told me that Demi heard about Nick and Priyanka and she wasn’t too happy with the news. She said that Demi looked down upon Nick for stooping that low to get himself into a marriage PR. Within the industry, your fellow peers often know what’s real and fake.
Nick and Priyanka ain’t fooling anyone just like Shawn and Camila aren’t.
She also tells me that Demi called out Nick on it. Ugh, I’d pay for a video of Demi doing that and Nick just standing there like :/
I feel like that’s the reason why she wasn’t invited to the wedding either. I’m not saying that Priyanka was the reason they aren’t friends because clearly, a lot more was going on for years before Nick signed the con—I mean, met her. But imagine Demi calling him and the relationship fake, and then attending the wedding? Plus, it seems like there were hidden feelings for the duo so would you attend your ex’s wedding?
On top of that, Priyanka is so attention seeking and she isn’t about to have Demi at the wedding that would probably overshadow her crazy ass considering her history with Nick. I’m also told that Priyanka is quite the controlling gal. After all, she is besties with Ms. Meghan Markle. Well good luck, Nick. It’s what you got yourself in.
The thing about Demi is that she doesn’t care about her image if you couldn’t tell already. She had multiple opportunities to get into a PR to further her career like her fellow peers—Selena, Taylor, and Ariana, but Demi was always like “no my career is about my story and my life.” If she had gotten in a PR with Niall Horan back in 2012 when he was drooling over her, maybe she would have had a better outcome in the industry, but anyways.
Now that we have all the pieces of the puzzle, let’s wrap it up!
THE FALLOUT
On July 24, 2018, Demi had a life threatening overdose when she was found left all alone in her kitchen (after her friends abandoned her) when the paramedics arrived. She also apparently suffered a heart attack as well.
And as fast as Demi quickly took the brothers back in her life and helped bring them back into the mainstream world, they dropped her even faster.
Now you guys are smart people. I laid out the timeline for you. I showed you how when their fame levels switched and how Demi was the marketing mule for not only Nick’s career, but for Joe and his band. Most people that hit it big or become relevant, often forget about those that helped them get there. Demi didn’t forget how they helped her on her debut album. She didn’t forget how she was brought on tour with them. She didn’t forget any of it. So she repaid the favor without starting any problems within her management team, which revolved around emotional abuse, by welcoming them into her career when she was the big star.
The second Nick got arranged with Priyanka in 2018 and Joe ran to Sophie Turner, and they continued to become besties with Wilmer, that piece of garbage that emotionally abused Demi to the point where she thought she was worthless and the only thing she could turn to was her good friends—cocaine and alcohol.
I don’t think Demi is mad at them for being friends with Wilmer, but I think she’s hurt that they chose him over her, despite them knowing him BECAUSE of her and him being a big reason for her downfall.
Now imagine being put in her place.

What’s infuriating is that people make this about “well being with addicts is hard because they’re difficult to deal with.” Oh no shit. Demi is one of the most complicated and most difficult celebrities that I know. Sis gives me a headache on a daily basis. However, she has a big heart and she welcomes everyone in with open arms. All she ever wanted were some real friends and a happy relationship. She didn’t get that from them. Instead, she got her manager aiding in her destruction, but using her in the process. Their management also played a role in the fallout.

She got used by Phil in order to be a marketing mule for the two acts that he’s always chosen to book better slots for in the industry and just used Demi as the ladder to get up there. Phil never did anything smart for Demi. All he was good for was convincing her that she was a weak little puppy that needed his help, so he can just use her further his management career and throw her at the end of it all.
He never supported her decisions. He didn’t even listen to her when she didn’t want to make Tell Me You Love Me as the lead single, but wanted Sorry Not Sorry. She had to go to Jay Z to get his help and back her up as that being the right choice for a single which went onto become a top 10 5x platinum hit (her biggest to date).
Phil asked fans to spam magazine’s Twitter accounts to get Demi on the cover, meanwhile, it was his job to book it. He made her officially release music that was LEAKED FOR WEEKS AT A TIME. He would book her for outside stages with locals during the VMAs, but suddenly…. oh ho… suddenly everything was achievable when it came to managing the Jonas Brothers. Grammy performances for their songs and not tributes? Booked! Best magazine slots? Achieved! Marketing plans? Done! Best stages at award shows? Got it!
Once Phil got the Jonas Brothers back and hopping on the nostalgic feelings from the general public, it was bye-bye Demi. Suddenly, no one remembers how SHE brought them out on tour in 2014. SHE sacrificed one of her biggest eras to become a joint act to help them. Oh, but God forbid Demi slips up because of all the problems and issues that these same people SAW FIRST HAND, and suddenly it’s…. well being with an addict is hard.
Then you should have stayed away from the addict in the earlier years and not just when you needed something.

He literally looks like he HATES her. Now Phil wasn’t the only player in this managemental abuse towards Demi.
Demi exposed a little bit of what her team put her through when she was interviewed by Ellen this year. She had a “sober coach,” aka Mike Bayor who manipulated her to think that he was the reason she was alive. Demi, being the vulnerable and kinda-desperate-for-happiness gal she is, put her entire trust in him alongside Phil. Instead, they used her biggest fears against her and worked in unhealthy ass ways to “help” her cope. I mean, not allowing her to order room service? Getting her watermelon with frosting for her birthday? Poking fun at her eating disorder by doing all of those shenanigans? Y’all took the approach that doctors don’t even take and then you get shocked with the girl relapses? After all of that crap?
Demi even liked two Instagram posts addressing this situation.
As her team, it is their JOB to look after her. I mean that was literally what Mike was hired for. But again, this just seems to me like a story I’ve heard that goes around in Hollywood and it’s when celebrity teams like keeping the celebrity drugged up, so they can leech off of them and control them. You know, the same way Justin Bieber’s friends drugged him in 2014 and went on a shopping spree with his credit card, except with Demi it seems like it’s being done on a managerial level. This is more in the dark parts of Hollywood. Basically, they would bring the celebrity to rehab but then provide the drugs later to keep them in this psychological dose where they just rely on them for everything. The celebrity, being unaware of the situation, become victims and prisoners in a place where they thought they were getting help. Do I think this was the situation with Demi and her team? …. yes.
Now back to Nick and Joe.
No one is saying that they should have become rehabilitation centers for Demi, but checking up on your friend and being there for them is the BARE MINIMUM… especially after everything that friend has done for you. You don’t reach the top again and forget about who helped you get there. Yeah yeah I know that Nick tweeted about her when she overdosed, but so did everyone else so like ???
To summarize, Demi felt betrayed by both Nick and Joe because they weren’t there for her when times got tough, despite her taking them in from 2014-2016 to help bring their careers back to the mainstream world. Instead, they used her when she was a big star, but forgot all about her when they returned back to relevance. They knew all about what Wilmer did to her (the bullying, emotional abuse, manipulation, cheating, leading to drugs, etc.), but continued associating with him despite meeting him through her when she would take them on vacation. They (mainly Joe) chose him over her. Is it bro code to stay silent in the midst of abuse? And at the end of it all, they didn’t invite her to their weddings or even cared for their friendship of ten+ years.
Now tell me, how would you feel?
Consider yourselves lucky because now you know about the full story which Demi will probably be exposing for us in her next album. After all, she speaks through the music and not through her publicists. She put the following 2 pictures on her story and commented on a fan’s Instagram post.
Demi also hinted at everything that went down between her and the brothers along with Wilmer, when she liked the following posts.
I get it, to the outside person it seems like Demi is annoyingly shady, but there is a whole story here. A story filled with betrayal and hurt.

In conclusion…
I feel like I need to emphasize this—I don’t think that Nick or Joe are horrible people. Joe is a bit of an asshole (he’s always been the ‘player’) and to be honest, I feel like Nick didn’t intentionally mean to hurt Demi. If he’s in a PR with Priyanka, he’s most likely contractually obligated to follow through with that and it comes at a price—losing your best friend. This is a dirty business after all.
I’m not making Demi seem like some sort of saint. However, you cannot deny the facts at hand. She gave them everything and they practically spit on her in return. If she didn’t pay any attention to them during those years, then yeah.. sure they didn’t owe her anything later on. But I mean… you guys were best friends. Doesn’t that mean anything? And I assure you, Demi asked herself the same question.
Sis is a mess, I ain’t gonna lie. But she’s a good person. Does she have a big mouth and does she do stupid things? Oh for sure. However, it’s never with ill intention. All Demi wants in life is to be genuinely loved and get the same treatment from people that she gives out. She does have her own problems that trust me, she could have milked and blamed on someone else like her fellow peer. Her peer that is trying to frame her self-inflicted issues on her ex as a coverup story, is actually the reality for Demi. But Demi doesn't have ill intentions and just wants to get better.
Anyways, I hope Nick divorces Priyanka five years from now and gets back together with Miley Cyrus or Demi. Sophie and Joe seem very cute (I don’t think they’re a PR tbh, but I have to still get confirmation that). Kevin was never of interest to stans. I hope Demi continues to focus on HERSELF. She has a bad habit of dating to stay distracted (like Ariana Grande). All in all, this was a sad story to expose, but hopefully everyone finds their happiness (keep Nick in your prayers). I hope that I was able to build onto some of the details fans seemed to know and hopefully this clarified this whole “feud.”
