Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's Engagement Isn't As Spontaneous As You Would Think: Here's The Truth
Ariana Grande is many things, but at least you can’t say that she doesn’t keep us on our toes. She done got ME, EXPOSINGSMG, SHOOK… again!
If you haven’t heard by now, Ariana is engaged to her non-famous realtor partner, Dalton Gomez. They were first spotted in February 2020 and it’s assumed they’ve been dating since January 2020. The reason for that is because she was reportedly spending the holidays in 2019, with her ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez. There was a lot of social media interaction between Ricky and Ariana during that time and a few locals said they spotted them together.
Either way, that’s irrelevant to this post, but I just said it to give you some sort of timeline as to when Dalton and Ariana started dating.
I recently made a video in which I spoke about Ariana’s mentality in relationships because if there’s one thing that has remained constant about Ariana throughout the years, it’s that she’s a…. serial cheater. That’s literally her nickname on this blog! So why does someone who needs so much validation from relationships, seek to cheat on their partner?

When speaking about Ariana and her cheating habits, I always reference her little kink about why she cheats and in a way, it’s this feeling of power. I explained it a lot in the video so go check it out if you haven’t already.
According to my sources, Ariana is cheating on Dalton. Does Dalton know? Nope! He does not.
“I want to be happy for her, but she’s still sleeping with other people. It’s actually pretty disrespectful towards Dalton. Dalton literally is someone that no one knows like… he’s not a part of the industry and is a real estate agent, so I’m not sure if he knows about her ‘get togethers.’” — my source
I’m emphasizing the cheating because surprise surprise, it’s part of the information. But wait! Come on, that’s not all I have for you today now is it?
Before we get into the rest of the tea, I want to mention how both of them look in this photo:

Shallon Lester’s video on them (shout out to her who referenced us in her video, check it out here) mentioned something very interesting… something is off about their body language. And she said something about their tight-lipped smile. Then my source, made a good point to mention that Ariana looks more in tune and in love with Jim Carrey than with Dalton (we’re going to get to that).
Many of you did what we all do when reading this blog and we come across a celebrity relationship—ask if it’s a PR (public relationship under a contract).
As for the case of Ariana, no it’s not a PR. HOWEVER, real relationships can be utilized in certain ways and it’s this little detail that many of you trip up when it comes to deciding whether or not a relationship is a PR.

Ariana dropped the news of the engagement on Sunday, December 20, 2020 and it was early on in the morning.
So my readers aka the intellectuals were like… isn’t this suspicious with the timing of her Netflix movie? Which was literally going to be released in like 12 hours at the time?
I asked one of my sources when Dalton proposed and she said that it was a few days before Ariana announced it. A different account on Instagram later came out to say that they had a source tell them that he proposed on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
So why announce it coincidentally before the Netflix movie drops?
Because it’s good for business. It’s beneficial to do so despite the engagement being real and not a traditional PR.
Ariana has been widely successful in her career because she utilizes her personal life which is highly interesting, in her career. Kudos to her because that’s what you’re supposed to do. When celebrities’ lives aren’t interesting, they set them up with someone to make them interesting (ex: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello).
Now that that’s covered, let’s get to some new information. Here’s where I was even shocked.
According to one of my sources, she said that “Ariana bought her own ring, she had it made with the heirloom her grandmother gave her made out of her grandfather’s pin, but yeah, he didn’t arrange anything. It was all her.”
… when I tell you… I was like HUH?
After the information marinated for a few days with me (I’m being dramatic), I started to see the whole story a bit clearer.
Ariana is all about the aesthetic and she often utilizes things to fit her aesthetic. For her, she always takes it a step further and when it comes to BOTH her engagement rings, they seem to fit a meaningful aesthetic.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane and talk about the ring that Pete Davidson gave her in 2018.

It was a big teardrop-shaped pear diamond center stone that many believed was an ode to Ariana’s song, ‘No Tears Left To Cry.’
Ariana first wore the ring on June 2, 2018 which was right after her and Pete were Instagram official on May 30, 2018. TMZ reported that the ring is a $93,000 VVS1 clarity diamond set which Pete picked up in May. The ring was custom made for Ariana and it took 2 weeks to complete.
Revisiting this information again, makes me feel like Ariana had a hand in making that ring as well. Pete doesn’t strike me as the aesthetically pleasing dude to give her a ring that coincidentally is an ode to her lead single that was her return to music after the saddening Manchester event.
Also, did he have nearly $100k to randomly drop on a ring to a girl he’s been dating for like a month? No!
I mention this because as I stated in the first post about them, Ariana’s engagement ring to Dalton is reportedly made from her grandfather’s tie pin.
Initially, I was in awe of how sentimental the engagement ring is because it has something that is clearly very important to Ariana. I was like Dalton Gomez or modern-day fcking Romeo???
But then it hit me… no guy in his right mind will ever be like “hey you know that tie pin ring that is super important to you that was made like 6 years ago? Yeah how about I get a fat big diamond on it and propose to you with it?”
Like how does that even come up in conversation? Ariana has known Dalton at that point for less than a year and we’re all supposed to believe that it was HIS IDEA to put that sentimental pearl on an engagement ring?
Even if she told him about the pearl, in between the few months they were dating and the sneaking out to cheat, no one will ever want to take away from a sentimental piece of jewelry and just assume that they can over shine it by using it for an engagement ring because most people would be scared it’d come off as disrespectful.
Unless… it was Ariana’s idea.
Now when you add all that information with the fact that she made the announcement a couple of hours before her Netflix movie drops, the whole story is seeming less and less spontaneous and more and more planned.
And what do I always say about Ariana besides that she’s a serial cheater? She is the head b!tch wherever she is.
Now I’m sure you’re all asking the same question I did—how did this whole thing even come about? Did Ariana just wake up Dalton one morning with the ring and say, “hey motherfcker, time to propose!”
Here’s what my source had to say about that:
“She had her own ring made and basically passed it off as if Dalton proposed to her … or convinced him to. Point is, her engagement wasn’t genuine considering he didn’t give her the ring himself.”
Obviously, my sources and I aren’t living with Ariana during quarantine (or are we?) so there are details missing from the story.
Here’s my take on it and what I believe happened based on the information I have:
Ariana had a hand in making the ring and the proposal was definitely her idea. Dalton was more than happy to propose to her considering she’s the Ariana Grande, who wouldn’t want to propose to her? And it was basically a reverse proposal where instead of the guy asking the girl, it was the girl asking the guy.
I mean her Instagram caption was, “forever n then some.” Is that how y’all are going to announce your engagement? With three words and 1 letter? I mean I don’t know, call me crazy, but it looks like just another aesthetic in Ariana’s life.
Most girls would be like “and when YOU proposed and asked me to marry you it was the day I knew it was true love” or some bullsh!t like Demi Lovato wrote when she accepted a proposal from a homeless stalker.
The gag there was that Demi’s ring was….. hERS. THE JEWEL WAS… HERS! The homeless man was literally given HER jewel that was on a necklace and I guess placed on the fcking band… which Demi returned the whole ring itself back to him after the engagement exploded in her face despite the jewel being hers…
Ah… Ariana and Demi… both of them and their desperation has definitely shed off 10 years of my life. Listen, I love em both. I want them to be happy, but I just see desperation and fear of loneliness whenever I look at their relationships. They have similar features when it comes to relationships—they can’t be alone.
And maybe that fear has them acting up like this. This is Ariana’s second engagement to another dude that she wasn’t even dating for a full year AND is reportedly cheating on him.
Another thing I must add is that competition is very real and alive in Hollywood. Just like you locals compete with your friends on who can rock Forever 21 better, celebrities have that unwritten competition too. Except with them, it’s… how big is the rock going to be and how much does it cost.
Honestly, it’s like flaunting around a Grammy.
And so if the more famous star is going to have a hand in paying for the ring herself or auctioning off one of her many jewels, then so be it.

I mean there’s not much more to it except that they’re sleeping together, according to my sources.
A lot of you were hesitant to believe this information, but it’s been almost 7 months since I said it, and only more and more sources are coming out to talk about it.
I’m not one to use blind sites as my sources as I’ve said 7 thousand times, but if it’s a big bubbling story, it’s something that I’ll reference. And ever since we said it in June, I’ve seen more people talk about it.
For example, BlindGossip came out with a story a few days ago that is saying what we’ve BEEN telling you.
For any of you clowns that tell us we use BlindGossip as a source, drink up weirdos. They’re now releasing a story about Ariana and how she can’t be alone which is a song I’ve sung on this blog since 2016. Plus. we’ve been told y’all about Jim Carrey and Ariana.
Other blind sites such as CDAN claim that Ariana is using Jim because he’s supplying her with drugs and Jim is fulfilling his validation by sleeping with a younger star such as Ariana. Honestly, idk how true that is, but it doesn’t surprise me if it is.
Going back to my source, apparently Ariana might be getting a new ring and my source says it’s, “so it looks more extravagant and that they’re (Ariana + Dalton) the perfect couple.”
Remember that competition I spoke about? Look at it now.
That’s actually going to be interesting to see if she ends up changing the ring. I think the diamond looks super awkward where it’s placed. Someone said it’s arranged like a cockroach… oh dear lord LMAO.
Also, my source says that this engagement can go 2 ways. Either it fails and they break up OR they make it down the aisle because Ariana wants to “prove a point,” but it’ll end in divorce. I even mentioned this in my Ariana video where I said, “will she become the next Jennifer Lopez?” Because Jennifer was a main pop star who’s been married three times and divorced twice.
I mean to each their own! But it begs the question: is this Ariana’s one epic love or another lustful one? In the video, I emphasized how Ariana always dates people based on what she wants in life at the moment.
With Pete, I told you all in 2018 that they were dating because Ariana saw Pete as a breath of fresh air and something different in her life. She wanted that different and comedic lifestyle to distract her from the tragedy that she’s been through—the Manchester bombing.
Even when she was with Ricky, he was this different kind of distraction of forbidden love since her team hated him. Same with Mac Miller (RIP). I explained it all in the video so check that out if you want to know more.
The point is, Dalton seems to fit the lifestyle that Ariana wants to pursue which is a lifestyle that is away from the prying eyes of Hollywood. Someone who isn’t media savvy and someone who is away from the industry which serves as a break for Ariana when she isn’t working.
Ariana loves control and where is the main source of information coming from regarding her and Dalton? Her. And who’s responsible for giving us all the content? Her.
