Before I start, let me introduce myself and let you in on my background which is something that I’ve barely done on here.
I’m Angela. I’m born and raised in America and I’m from Italian descent. My mother was born in Italy and my father was born in America. My grandparents are Italian immigrants. My family is very religious and are Catholics. So trust me when I tell you this post isn’t coming from a biased perspective.
When constantly exposing celebrities, which is something I do when not writing about a topic like this, I repeatedly preach not to trust the media and the bullshit they feed you. For a very long time, I was conditioned by the media to believe that Islam represents violence, oppression, and overall hatred of others not from the same religion. And it all made sense because duh, Muslims bombed the twin towers in New York. Right? Isn’t that the story they tell us even though so much evidence points to it being a constructed plan by the U.S. government.
I studied all 3 monotheistic religions; Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, in depth. I’ve been to lectures. I fully read most of the books. I know what I’m talking about.
All 3 religions stem from the same basic set of rules. All 3 have the same views on murder, homophobia, and more. They just have different stories.
ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE VIOLENCE. ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE TERRORISM. ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE RAPE. ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE MURDER. ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE FORCING THE RELIGION ON SOMEONE ELSE. ISLAM DOES NOT PROMOTE THE KILLING OF SOMEONE ELSE FROM ANOTHER RELIGION. ALL THOSE FAKE QUOTES YOU SEE FLOODING SOCIAL MEDIA ARE FALSE AND MADE UP BY THOSE TRYING TO MAKE YOU SWIM IN THEIR POOL OF IGNORANCE.
The fact that I have my Muslim friends text me in fear and asking me questions fearing that they will suffer for the actions of a group that they don’t claim is heartbreaking. Alana my sister, who you all know, is in a law program so she has studied the constitution and American laws for many years. Even if you haven’t studied the constitution and American laws, you don’t have to be a genius to figure out that banning a group based on RELIGION is unconstitutional.
The constitution was put in place in fear of an authoritative government. Back then, Americans feared a strong government because they feared a dictator. And America failed under the Articles of Confederation which was the first constitution. In order to make the people feel safe and not in fear of a strong government, the Bill of Rights was put in place. You can’t REMOVE an amendment. You can only add to it. The first amendment states:
We have the right to the FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Your religion should not be held against you.
Banning people based on religion means that you are saying that that religion promotes terrorism. That’s not true. That’s just the Islam that the media has painted for you. Read the Quran. There’s English translations for those of you who are like me and don’t understand Arabic. Read the five pillars of Islam. Read the REAL quotes stated in the Quran. Everything they tell you in the media is a lie. The quotes you see flying around by racist Trump supporters are fabricated.
Banning Muslims based on the actions of ISIS whom Muslims hate more than Americans hate them, is unfair.
MUSLIMS DON’T CLAIM ISIS. ISIS IS NOT ISLAM.
ISIS KILLS MUSLIMS. ISIS BLOWS UP MOSQUES. WHY WOULD THEY KILL THEIR OWN PEOPLE IF THEIR INTENTION IS TO SPREAD THE RELIGION BY FORCE?????
Take a look for yourself.
Just because ISIS claims to kill in the name of Islam meanwhile murder is forbidden in Islam, does not mean that Islam = terrorism. It means ISIS failed reading comprehension and whatever Quran they claim they’re reading, is not the Quran that over 1.6 billion Muslims are reading.
Prophets are messengers in Islam. They are also very important to Muslims.

On top of that, did you know that 20 million Muslims marched AGAINST ISIS back in November? Probably not because the media completely IGNORED IT.

It is unfair to act like ISIS represents Islam when ISIS don’t even know what Islam is.
Funny, I thought if their whole agenda was based on the rules stated in the Quran, they would hmmmm I don’t know??? HAVE THE QURAN.
On top of that, when studying the Quran and learning more about it, I realized that it’s basically a huge story just like the Bible and Torah. Ignorant assholes take bits and pieces of the Quran, rephrase it together, and make it seem like the Quran says that when in reality it’s just manipulated “evidence.” In simpler words, a fake quote.
Back then, the Catholic Church would kill and torture people who simply QUESTIONED the church. How come we never claimed that Catholics terrorized people into staying quiet? I mean that is exactly what they did!
How come we don’t claim that ALL white people shoot up schools, churches, and theaters in their free time are school shooters?
I can also claim that white people are fucking psychotic because when they’re not shooting up schools, theaters, and churches, they’re burning African Americans!
The KKK still exists btw. They just had a reunion. Cute.
Hitler has killed more people than ISIS have. How come we don’t claim that all Germans are terrorists considering they supported a leader like Hitler who almost wiped off Jews from the planet?
Oh right. We don’t blame the actions of SOME on EVERYONE because generalization is WRONG. So why are we generalizing the actions of a few morons on the +1.6 billion Muslims in the world? If Islam represented terrorism then we’d all be dead and I’d fear my Muslim friends. But we aren’t all dead and we should not fear our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.
The real terrorists are terrorizing Muslims more than anyone else.

Yemen!
Palestine!
Turkey!
The list goes on and on.
But all America wants to cry about is 9/11, something that happened 16 years ago and something that is widely believed to have been orchestrated by the U.S. government.
But in today’s world, we live in a country that promotes generalization, unconstitutional actions, NO freedom of religion, and racism.
Sounds like 1935…. in GERMANY.
You know who else went through extreme vetting?
Jews who were trying to escape Hitler’s wrath! Oh what are the similarities? Syrian refugees who have NOTHING and everything was BOMBED away from them, are trying to find a better life and live a life they are rightfully deserved as humans but they’re being turned away.
Look at these innocent civilians like you and I! We can’t turn our backs on them. It’s not their fault that they were denied basic human rights that we are lucky to have! Are they not human beings like you and I? Who’s fault is it that they are suffering and are continuing to suffer?
It’s the fault of the racist and uneducated morons that the imbeciles we live among in this country have elected!
We are repeating HISTORY. The 9/11 that we remember every year is the 24/7 for those countries that we are turning our backs on. It’s our duty for the sake of HUMANITY, to not turn our backs on innocent human beings who are not at fault for the actions of a corrupted government.
STOP BEING HYPOCRITICAL. While you are like “Omg Muslims promote terrorism,” here’s the facts
Is that not an act of terrorism? Or is it only terrorism when white people are in danger?
Regardless, white people are the biggest terror in the US. Not ISIS. Not Muslims.

I urge you to be open minded and stop the ignorance from spreading. The religion is not a problem. Stop acting like it is by spreading false information. Stop generalizing. Stop being brainwashed by the media. Terrorists exists in all races and religions. The problem is not from outside but from within. The government is corrupt.
