The ACE Family Exposed: Their Past Scandals, Austin McBroom's Rape Allegations, and More! (part 1)
I usually don’t waste my time writing about irrelevant Youtubers who think that having a platform makes them celebrities, but The Ace Family has been requested for months now so here we are.
This post is going to discuss MANY things so we broke it up in two parts. The majority of our readers don’t know who they are and what their past is so we will tell you EVERYTHING. And of course, this wouldn’t be an ExposingSMG special without some inside information from our sources.
For those of you who are like me and don’t know what or who the Ace Family is, I’ll give you a quick summary.
The Ace Family is a Youtube channel that consists of Austin McBroom, Dolores Catherine Piaz, and their two daughters; Elle and Alaia. They’re a Youtube couple that do pranks, challenges, family lifestyle videos and so on.
For a while they have been getting themselves into controversy. This time however, they’re making headlines everywhere because another Youtuber, Cole Carrigan, exposed Austin as an alleged rapist.
Before we cover that story, let’s run down memory lane.
Timeline of ACE Family Controversies
Basketball charity controversy
In June 2018, the Ace Family held a charity event and announced they would donate 100k towards their charity of choice. The event was successful and they had Glenn Travis perform. When the night was over, the Ace Family allegedly only donated 75k instead of 100k.
I mean to be honest, I don’t think that’s really a controversy because 75k is still a shit ton of money. I’m just adding this in because fans did constantly question what happened.
Exposed Twitter Tweets
It really isn’t 2019 if a Youtuber or celebrity doesn’t get exposed for some shit they said on Twitter 45 years ago. Exposed tweets are affiliated WITH EVERYONE. Y’all gotta make new twitter accounts if you wanna be famous randomly.
Anyway through July and August of 2018, some of Austin’s tweets were dug up. His tweets were racist, sexist and just plain stupid. Some of his tweets were…
“"If you like em nice rachet, black with the cheeks without morals…the city of St. Louis is for you.”
“St. Louis is scaring me away from black girls….blondes with blue eyes are looking more appealing!”
“I need a massage, where are my lil asians?”
“I sit behind two of the hairiest females I have ever witnessed in my math class. #wow”

He then tries to get his insurance by saying “I’m not racist towards black girls…i’m black!!1!” But that doesn’t help his case at all because him tearing down darker skin people of color, has nothing to do with what race he is and he’s still an insensitive piece of shit. And then he had the nerve to get his poor mother to say “no you’re not racist wasn’t your ex- girlfriend black??”
That’s literally the equivalent of “I ain’t racist, I have a black friend” or “I’m not racist, I love hip-hop!!”

Again, that literally equals “no becky I’m not racist, I have black frendzzzz!!” And then his mom went on about how he’s just a jokester, which makes me think his poor mom has no clue who her son really is.
House Robbery
In August 2018, the Ace Family revealed that their house was robbed while they were away at Disneyland. However, people thought that the behavior of the police was suspicious because they were fooling around on camera along with the way they let Austin behave and among other things. Overall, these actions contributing to a second controversy which is that they faked the robbery.
Another video from Austin on Instagram upset people further. The ACE Family denied they faked anything, and a document filed by the police was found stating that the burglary did actually happen.
Now how convenient for them to get robbed a few days after Austin’s tweets blew up, exposing him for being a jerk and a racist in the past. Keep that in mind fools. I mean how hard is it to pay someone to rob you?

App Scam Accusation
In mid-2018, the ACE Family App was released and contained the exclusive videos available to what Austin described as, "real ACE family members" or as I like to call it “we’re gonna give y’all a name and hope it makes you feel special enough so you buy it.”
However in October, it was revealed via Twitter that only those who paid a monthly subscription fee would get to view those videos. It was also pointed out that many who had ordered items from the app had been charged, but had to wait months for their arrival or had not received them at all. When merchandise ran out on the channel, it was not replenished and subscribers continued to be charged resulting in many calling the app a scam. In early 2019, they announced they were taking a break from Youtube to focus on their app.
Yikes.
Pedophilia Accusations
This one’s fucked up.
In January 2019, Austin posted a Instagram video taking a young girl (who isn’t his daughter), to an ADULT SEX SHOP and buying her a phallic shaped lollipop.. aka an erect-penis shaped lollipop.
I… I just… I-who-I just
Huh???? How do you take a CHILD to an “alleged” sex shop and buy her a penis shaped lollipop AND then proceed to FILM IT…. AND THEN UPLOAD IT. Like I just wanna know his mind processing this.
Like how did you go through all these points and not realize once that this is morally and ethically wrong?
He must’ve went “huh let me take this random girl who isn’t my child to a sex shop, and record her with a penis shaped lollipop.” ??
He then says “Guys, I’m in so much trouble, but she said she was gonna steal it if I didn’t buy it, so…” LMAOOOOOOOO as if that makes it okay.
He also told her “‘Keep that in the bag forever. Do not show that to anybody, OK. That's your little secret,” he said to the child after buying her the penis lollipop.
At some point, this started sounding like a child porno.
That’s your little secret.
Later he deactivated his Instagram for a few days, removed the video, and then reactivated his Instagram. You know, thinking people would forget.
But I am really trying to understand how his mind processed this. Let’s say the girl was gonna steal it if you didn’t buy it, why did you record it??? Or let me do you a better one, why did you take her there in the first place??? Is he mentally okay?
Scamming their Audience Accusations
Another controversy arose in the same month when Catherine and Austin were accused of scamming audiences to increase subscriber numbers. They posted in a video that they would give $100,000 to a member of the ACE family who could complete a basketball challenge and asked fans to respond if they wanted to be part of the challenge. Later that same month, they sent out a post saying that they selected 20 basketball players and YouTubers to compete. They ended up giving the money to a wealthy basketball player, one that they were already friends with, but was not an official competitor or known to be a subscriber.
They are kiss ups so of course they gave 100k to a wealthy basketball player. The rich only support each other.
Rape Accusations
This is the most recent one and the purpose of this entire post.
Cole Carrigan who is a Youtuber and a former member of Team 10 (does Team 10 still exist?), posted a video where he accused Austin and at least two others, of raping his friend in a hotel room in Miami. In the video, Cole provided screenshots of messages between his friend and Austin’s assistant, and messages between Austin and his friend; checking out the girls who were coming with them to Miami. He also provided a testimony from another alleged victim, and a photo of bloody bed sheets from the day of the alleged rape.
Yikes.
Austin’s Official Statement
In response, Austin tweeted a Notes App screenshot (you know, the usual celebrity apology when they fuck up), denying everything. He also included screenshots from the alleged rape victim’s Instagram post, stating that Carrigan fabricated the story in order to get the ACE Family to pay him and the victims to stay quiet.
He also announced that him and his family are taking legal action and will sue. And somehow his father is involved in this??

The Alleged Victim’s Statement
“I wanted to say that Austin Mcbroom is not to blame in this situation, and he did not rape me or anyone.”
Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) in Clueless.
What makes her statement suspicious is that she said “He did not rape me or ANYONE.” Like why do you have to include the “anyone” part? How would you know he didn’t rape anyone else? It’s almost as if they had to emphasize it.
But here at ExposingSMG we remain unbiased until given factual evidence by our reliable sources.
Lol… uh so best case scenario? I feel like Austin paid the victim a good amount of money to shut up, included some therapy sessions in the package deal, and had these messages fabricated or they were true, but taken out of context…?
Either way, do I think Austin is falsely being incriminated? No.
Do I think Cole was trying to kill two birds with one stone by threatening them, being paid for it, and having a possible “okay” from the victim? Sure.

This also wasn’t the first time Austin gets accused of doing things with other woman.
Austin is frequently the subject of cheating rumors. As recently as July, women have accused him of asking girls to sign nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) after hooking up.
I don’t know how true these messages are, but these went around Twitter and everyone was accusing him of cheating.

Catherine’s response makes it seem like she knows Austin has been cheating on her, but likes to take the industry’s bandaid tactic in covering up a scandal and that is: deny, deny, deny.
Also, any celebrity that brings attention to a situation by denying it so aggressively, is often lying. This is what I know about my knowledge of the industry and its celebrity’s secrets. What I’ve seen is that celebrities who are often innocent in scenarios, won’t bring attention to the situation because it’s false. Meanwhile those who have something to hide, are the ones always in your face denying.
But again, my thoughts. We don’t say anything without the ESMG sources speaking first.
