Taylor Swift’s New Era Started on Travis Kelce’s Podcast… here’s the tea
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting real serious because ain’t no way she saved her 12th album announcement for Travis’ podcast New Heights, in which he co-hosts it with his brother Jason Kelce.
They must be engaged because she would never willingly give a man this opportunity otherwise… and my sources say they are 👀
Last October, a Scandalous Media source revealed that Taylor and Travis are secretly engaged. This October, Taylor will be releasing a new album… one that she announced right next to Travis.
Trust me… the engagement news is just as shocking to my PR-honed suspicions as it is to you.
Taylor, who has always had a high-profile album announcement… saved the moment to announce it side by side with Travis while they chatted with Jason.
Travis seemed to already know the news, as Jason screamed in excitement when Taylor showed him what I assume was the new album cover, blurred to us.
This of course led to the show hitting #1 on Apple’s Podcast chart.
She didn’t even post the announcement herself, instead just retweeting New Heights’ post about it and collaborating on the IG post.
She changed all her social medias to this green background with a red lock, and on Instagram, added a burning heart emoji to the highlights which tells us one thing… this album is probably going to be about Travis.
You know… since the majority of the tortured poets department album was an unhinged drag toward Matty Healy.
This marks a different approach for Taylor who’s traditionally unveiled her new albums with highly elaborate or theatrical announcements.
She first announced the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ at the Grammys while accepting the award for her previous album, Midnights, all while on her sold-out tour and having released multiple re-recordings of her earlier albums.
She had announced that she was rerecording her albums in the first place amid her feud with Scooter Braun when she sat down for a tell all interview with CBS Sunday Morning in August 2019
She then confirmed it later that month on Good Morning America:
Her last big announcement before The Life of a Showgirl was letting us know she now owns all her masters… and now that era is officially closed, here she is, launching a whole new one.
She definitely does not sleep… that or she truly doesn’t want to make any room for any of these girlies to catch a break as she has been dominating the game for years.
“She has a crippling fear of fading away. It’s that stamina that keeps her going. No one from her generation is still dominating the way she is and that’s not something she is going to let up,” a source tells me.
This shouldn’t be a surprise to any of us as Tay Tay had openly admitted to a fear of fading away as she gets older in her Miss Americana documentary.

Taylor was also out for blood and certain goals she wanted to hit with The Tortured Poets Department, hence her very real feud with Billie Eilish and calculated attempts to block both Billie and Charli XCX on the charts.
There is only one way to survive in this industry and it’s to be a shark. When the dust settles, no one will remember and everyone will deny.
How do you feel about Travis and Taylor?
I know everyone thinks they are a fake PR and that is true to an extent… just because you’re supposedly engaged behind the scenes and friends and family love you, doesn’t mean there isn’t a certain facade you uphold in public.
Travis is everything Taylor has always wanted—from that masculine image that makes her feel like a smol bean, to the public’s perception of them: jock with the nerdy singer.
Fake, real, shallow, storybook… It’s exactly how she pictured it, and therefore, it’s exactly how it’s going to go down.
Am I equally as confused about this engagement as you guys? Yeah and no.
Like I said, it’s all she’s ever wanted.
Taylor has always wanted to conceal a certain part of her private life while montezing it to the public eye simultaneously. That’s why she was in all those PRs all those years and that’s where the birth of the Gaylor community comes in.
She will romanticize anything and everything, so she’s bound to keep it interesting.
