The Truth About Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Dating (exclusive tea)
Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun dating was probably on no one’s 2025 bingo card, but Hollywood loves to throw us a curveball every now and then.
I asked my sources about this relationship and I’m here to deliver the tea.
The story goes that Sydney and Scooter did actually meet at Jeff Bezos’ wedding. What seems to be an odd pairing isn’t actually that odd if you ask my source.
“How the internet feels about Scooter doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a good-looking, charismatic guy. Not defending, just saying. He also plays the humble factor very well. It’s not a shocker that at a wedding, with the low lights and champagne that these two became fond of each other.” — my source
My source says that it’s a real relationship, but we won’t be hearing wedding bells anytime soon.
The tea is, Scooter is more into Sydney than she is into him. I mean, I guess that’s not really a shocker, but I was surprised to hear that Scooter would be down to have a long-term relationship with Sydney, while Sydney plans on not slowing down anytime soon.
My source says that it’s Sydney’s team that’s emphasizing to the media that this is casual for Sydney and that she’s doing what any freshly single 20-something-year-old would do.
“Scooter is the one chasing Sydney and going after her. She likes his attention, but she knows she’s not becoming a step-mother to 3 children anytime soon. She’s at the peak of her career, she just wants to have fun and keep things casual, while Scooter, on the other hand, is hoping that things do become serious.” — my source
I know what your next question might be. Is this a PR relationship? Is Scooter using Sydney to get his name back on the top, and Sydney using Scooter to try out a music career?
No.
My source says that Sydney is at the peak of her career, where she’ll continue to get movie roles because movie studios care about one thing, and that’s popularity.
Whether you like Sydney or not, the fact that she’s currently one of the biggest names out there is enough to keep the ball rolling for a long time.

Scooter on the other hand has what he cares about the most and that is money.
My sources have told me since day 1 that Scooter’s money greed is the biggest thing you should know about him. If that doesn’t bother you, then odds are you’ll like him.
If using people as a personal ATM bothers you, then yeah, you’ll call him scum.
I haven’t heard anything about Scooter that’s extremely shocking besides the fact that he’s calculative and wants to make bank.
Plus it’s not like Sydney is so worried about him and his character, she’s not going to marry him nor does it look like she cares that much about having morals.
“She doesn’t need him, and she knows that. Honestly, I think people are giving this relationship too much credit. She’ll be over it soon enough, like I said, she’s hot, young, and in the peak of her career, she’s not settling down. He also doesn’t need anything from her because he’s not interested in being a music manager. I think he’s still reeling from the trauma he has from all the backlash he got.” — my source
My source says that even though Scooter is pinning for Sydney, he is still active on dating apps.
“He wants something more official with her, but until then, I guess he’s not being delusional about it either. He’s still on Raya (dating app)” — my source
When it comes to the 17-year age gap between Scooter (44) and Sydney (27), my source said it wasn’t done on purpose, but Sydney likes the attention from older men. She’s always had a thing for older men.
This checks out considering her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino (42), was 15 years older than her.
My source also said that the reason Jonathan and Sydney split up had to do with Sydney’s newfound fame and interest in Glen Powell.
Scooter, on the other hand, has not been publicly seen with anyone since his divorce from Yael Cohen, with whom he shares three kids.
