Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are the perfect PR (Shawmila update)
You’re probably confused by the title of this post.
“Perfect PR? Bitch what? Didn’t you call them the embarrassing fuck up of PR fuck ups?”
And yes.. you are right. I did say that.
But I want to discuss them from a business standpoint. Yes they are the fakest and most embarrassing PR couple currently around. But at least they did what a PR is supposed to do. And in my eyes, that’s worth mentioning.
A lot of my readers keep asking me, “Angela, why do you care so much for Shawn and Camila"?” I don’t. I know it’s a hard concept for readers to grasp.
“If you don’t care, why do you write about them?” When I say I don’t care, it means I have no personal feelings. I just like exposing and dragging. Plus, Shawn and Camila are a hot topic. Everyone keeps asking about them and if my Shawmila related posts were not my most popular this year, I wouldn’t keep writing about them.
Before we delve into the perfect PR, I have an update on Shawmila.
My source actually tells me that the PR is taking a toll on the friendship of theirs, more specifically, Shawn who isn’t feeling her so he’s the one who’s suffering to begin with.

Despite not being made public, Shawn and Camila have had their issues behind closed doors. It always stemmed from Camila being problematic. Whether that’s with her racist or insensitive remarks, or her ongoing alleged drug experimentation, Shawn and her have clashed several times.
Experiences like these will be made public once the PR ends and Shawn is able to breathe.
Moving on.
The perfect PR from a business standpoint of view.
Like I’ve said, the PR contract between the two has always been circled around in business meetings since the start of Camila’s solo endeavors. So since the beginning, the careers of the two have always been connected and they’ve always been romantically linked.
However, the pair played the best-friends-working-together-and-living-the-dream scene. So when you fast forward a couple years and they are seen making out, the general public loves it because they are a sucker for cute love stories where the friends turn lovers.
This is the play that their managers explained at the business meetings.
Not every PR is perfect. Most of them are not. For example, Jelena who is the worst PR in the history of PRs, in which the outcome was not planned nor wanted. At least for one party.
However, the outcome for Shawmila is the PERFECT PLAY.
Longtime friends turned lovers.
