Hollywood Hypocrites: Gigi Hadid dines with Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift post problematic comments & silence about Gaza

In the midst of the heartbreaking genocide taking place in Gaza and the high of celebrities staying silent, we have Gigi Hadid, out to dinner with friends Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner, Brittany Mahomes, and surprisingly Selena Gomez enjoying a… “girl’s night.”
Now for Gigi Hadid, we have one too many questions. For starters, you are a proud Palestinian woman who has spoken about the issues in the Middle East and who has a father who was directly affected by this war.
How are you hanging out with people who have been either very silent about this issue or have been liking pro-Israel posts?
Taylor Swift as we all know, will never talk about controversial topics. She is far more concerned about her image than she is about acknowledging the travesty we are seeing today.
In her documentary, “Miss Americana” she opened up about how growing up in the industry, many powerful people told her not to speak up on ANY controversial topics, so as to not offend anyone.
So she was radio silent during Black Lives Matter, The Trump elections, legal discrimination towards the Latinx community, and now not surprisingly humanitarian issues in the Middle East.
Yet she ended Miss Americana with tears in her eyes because she really wanted to be on the “right side of history” and tortured all of us with a song she dedicated to this issue named “Only The Young.”
So where are you now girlie? Or are you waiting for this issue to be the new social norm like usual?
If you didn’t know, Angela and I are in a Taylor-Swift-Conversion-Camp (TCC) where we listen to enough Taylor songs to see the hype. It’s safe to say it’s working. Taylor has some great bops that aren’t singles. It’s also safe to say “Only The Young” is not a good song.
I also wanna make it clear that I am in no way shape or form trying to hold these air-headed celebrities as, political rights activists, human rights lawyers, or any other nonsense you might use to defend these people.
I don’t know all the issues in the world, so I wouldn’t expect Taylor to know.
But I am a firm believer that having a massive platform means having a massive responsibility. The least Taylor can do is post donation links on her Instagram story.
Taylor Swift loves to come in and save the day. We constantly see it with her, whether it’s her obnoxious and fake supportive act towards people she despises or it’s her lending Sophie Turner her NYC apartment to stay at while battling a messy divorce with soon-to-be ex-husband Joe Jonas.
Taylor likes to play “feminist Superman” but if you really think about it, has Taylor ever shown up for when it matters?
Correct me if I’m wrong fellow Swiftie readers, but I don’t think I can ever remember a time Taylor courageously spoke about a matter before it became the social norm or even after.
For example, I’d like to do something positive for once and shed light on the fact that Sophie Turner has addressed her stance on this issue before the October 7th travesty. I’m not sure if this was a few months ago or back in 2021 when the Palestine/Israel issue hit another turning point but she did speak up.
It’s mid for sure but the least celebrities can do is give a statement addressing both side’s right for peace and safety but also acknowledging the truth of what’s happening to Palestinians.
Obviously, the truth will always prevail, but it’s funny to see how the state of Israel is trying its hardest to get Taylor on its side, even if it means trying to guilt her into posting or pretending that “her” security guard is an IDF member. He’s not, he worked for the venue she was performing at.
A second question for Gigi Hadid, how are you hanging out with the same person who dated your sister, Bella Hadid’s ex-boyfriend aka The Weeknd?
Then weirdly fantasized over Bella’s looks on social media and this ended up sending a hate train to your sister for plastic surgery remarks.

Or maybe an even better question for Gigi would be, how are you hanging out with someone who reportedly had a fling with your baby-daddy, Zayn Malik just a few months ago?
And the only reason this fling didn’t go anywhere is because odds are Zayn clocked out, the way he usually does. If it was up to Selena, Zayn would’ve been The Weeknd 2.0.
And now a question for Gigi that hits the final nail… how are you hanging out with someone who liked Amy Schumer’s posts basically calling for the continuation of genocide in Gaza?
For those of you wondering who I’m talking about the answer is our favorite victim, Selena Gomez!

Let’s not get anything twisted here, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez aren’t really friends. So I believe this little dinner outing was done by Taylor who invited Selena.
Taylor has recently been hanging out with many of her celebrity friends. She’s been seeing Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, Haim sisters, and she even rekindled her friendship with Selena again.

So I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor invited Selena to tag along, and I also wouldn’t be surprised if air-headed Gigi was caught off guard or just couldn't give her thoughts about it to ‘masta Taylor’.
It’s just weird because as a Palestinian whose father took in a Jewish family after World War 2 and then got kicked out of his house by said family only to grow up in a Syrian refugee camp, you would have more dignity over who you’re hanging out with.
It’s also weird because when Gigi tried to speak up for her people and address the issues in Palestine, not only did she get attacked by Selena’s racist best friend Caro Franklin, but she also got attacked by the state of Israel themselves.
So yes, it’s that serious and it always will be. Imagine being a celebrity, speaking out against what’s happening to your people, and the country doing the attacking publicly tries to silence you.
And then you’re spotted hanging out with Selena whose racist and problematic best friend called you “an idiot with a pretty face” and because you spoke up about the issue your own people are going through, says “you make me sick in the face of terrors… I pray you reap what you’ve sowed.”
???? Ma’ is it that serious? Also if you couldn’t tell, Caro and Selena are very close.
Also, Gigi’s post was so politically correct, anyone finding offense to it, is just a racist piece of crap.
Caro Franklin is a disgusting racist and genocide lover, and the stuff she has been posting since October 7th is sickening.
The fact that someone like her is Selena’s best friend and is influencing Selena’s thoughts is exactly why Selena’s statement about this conflict is just as sickening as Caro herself.
People didn’t like Selena’s statement because as someone with 430 million Instagram followers, your posts CAN change the world.
It was her posts alone that got Hailey Bieber mass bullied for months straight earlier in the year. Everyone got involved, fancy hashtags were created, suddenly everyone on social media became FBI agents, and companies joined in.
So after you caused all of this, when it’s time to actually use your voice for something positive, you plead, “a post can’t help :(“ people are obviously going to be hurt.
And don’t worry, I will address the Biebers’ statement along with all these other tone-deaf celebrities. I’ll leave that for later because this is a post about Gigi, Taylor and Selena.
Gigi publicly hanging out with these two cowards is low. She’s a celebrity, so anything she does in the public eye is a statement to be made.
Now, let’s address some cupcake fans who credit Gigi and this outing for getting some of these celebs to sign the Ceasefire being sent to the President and the government.
After Selena posted a statement about the Palestinian humanitarian crisis, it was reported that she signed the Ceasefire email.
At least Selena is trying to do something, (sure her statement was blatantly ignorant and clearly shows she doesn’t care enough) but again, where is Taylor? The least she can do is sign a ceasefire.
That was a good step and I’m not blaming Selena for being tone-deaf because most of these celebrities are but she, Taylor, and all these other “neutral celebrities” need a wake-up call.
This is a humanitarian crisis where our tax money; billions of them are being sent out to fund genocide. Not speaking up isn’t acceptable anymore.
I don’t know what Gigi is saying behind closed doors but I do hope she shows more courage because she is someone with a platform and has been affected by what’s happening in the Middle East. Maybe Taylor and Selena have no clue what’s happening and Gigi is educating them? (I’m a hold in a laugh)
Actively hanging out with someone like Taylor who is radio silent or Selena who supported Amy Schumer’s pro-genocide rants falls more on Gigi than it does on the other two.
This is what Selena liked while staying silent about Gaza.
People were also hurt because they saw her voice for Ukraine vs her voice for the people of Gaza.
After the backlash, she did like pro-Palestine posts and Rare Beauty made a statement as well.
There is a bit of controversy there because the CEO of Rare Beauty is a Zionist and their statement was problematic because they masked funding the IDF as Palestinan aid—so that was worse than anything. She should have just stayed silent but she wanted the philanthropic brownie points.
Now I will admit, Selena is getting a lot of attention because of the messy way she spoke about this topic. So many people are crushed and it almost takes the shine off the other celebrities who should also be dragged.
People expected more from Selena and are in complete shock that the majority of her stances are hypocritical. Gee, it’s almost like I been saying she’s messy and needs to be called out.
Stop. Blindly. Loving. Celebrities.
The shock I’ve seen people have over Selena’s social media activity is wild. Guess she really isn’t your modern-day Princess Diana, huh? Shoulda listened to me 10 years ago.
Also, the 1 thing that Selena did that none of the other illiterate celebrities did was somehow victimize herself in the process and make genocide about HER being a victim… how SHE can’t be on social media, how SHE needs a break.
That truly did it for me.
And according to Selena, she wants to quit Hollywood and become a full-time- hold your laugh- philanthropist. Yet when it comes to the most basic human rights issue, she’s either silent, liking posts from the other side or somehow making it about herself.
Let’s not forget during her documentary, My Mind and Me, she got extremely upset when the interviewer who was wrapping up her interview didn’t go into detail asking her about her dreams of being a philanthropist.
So not only are you silent/uneducated about these issues you’re also going around throwing fits about not being taken seriously when you wanna talk about philanthropy? Now was your chance to show us your philanthropy skills but yet that didn’t happen and I guess that’s the issue with Selena.
She thinks the world treats her unfairly because we don’t take her music or philanthropy topics seriously, yet spends more time camped under Jailey's hate tiktoks than she does for anything else.
And then after being called out— she does what she usually does and pleads for her “social media break” that she never actually ends up doing.
So yeah Gigi… the Scandalous Media team has a lot of questions for you.
I also wanna take this moment and drag the illiterate singer we all know as Justin Bieber. I know many of you might be shocked, but we here on this blog actually drag Justin all the time yet it always goes unnoticed, so here’s us making it very clear.
Justin is on the list of many, many, many celebrities who have failed humanity with their silence or downright ignorance. He has an entire album called “Justice” yet he himself doesn’t even know what that word means.
God forbid someone try and educate Justin and he might throw a stubborn fit.

Let us not forget how his church posted a photo of a demolished Gaza with the words “Praying For Israel.” When the photographer who took that photo said, “Hey, that’s not Israel, that’s Gaza!” the church deleted the post quietly. Justin whose story then got deleted as well, writes the words “Praying for Israel” on a background and posts it.
You see evil, and do nothing.
You have to be sick to see a photo of a demolished Gaza, one you thought was Israel and ran to post, and still think the opposing side needs your support. He could’ve posted for both sides if he really cared about “all people” but he didn’t. Absolutely disgusting.
Even Hailey Bieber was ignorant as hell liking “Pray for Israel" posts, but at least she sort of educated herself and posted two donation links for Gaza.
Also disclaimer for everyone who can’t read: I am not being biased towards Hailey in any way. I clearly said I wanted to make an in depth post calling out all the ignorant celebrities but this post isn’t the one for that.
My whole point is if you don’t wanna speak out at least post a donation link which Hailey did. That’s the only reason she didn’t get dragged further. That—and the fact that THIS ISN’T THE POST FOR IT YET. You guys can truly drag whoever you want. Don’t worry you don’t need my approval.
Any celebrity BS-ing their support will be called out because right now everyone is just running to save themselves without a care in the world.
