Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged, a source exclusively tells Scandalous Media.

My source tells me that those very close in Taylor’s circle who shall not be named for source protection, are hinting at Taylor being engaged.

My source says that considering Taylor’s past, “there’s no way this is going to be a thing until they’re actually married and then it’ll be a public announcement.”

Taylor is known on this blog as very controlling and prefers to provide information herself.

It seems like the plan is to stay secretly engaged -> get married secretly -> reveal the news later.

I see she’s trying to fulfill the prophecy.

Taylor’s inner circle is on board and supportive of her relationship with Travis, but Taylor is also described as chaotic so this information shouldn’t be available to the public… unless you’re a reader.

This also explains why there are random sources in the media debunking the mere thought of them being engaged.

Since the start of their fairytale romance, the entire world has been speculating over whether the two will tie the knot leading to a source close to the duo telling the DailyMail that they are not planning to get engaged anytime soon because “constant speculation from fans has ruined the intimate moment.”

Their source said, “At this point Taylor and Travis almost feel like an engagement would not feel very authentic.”

Tayvis has been highly overexposed over the past year from high profile appearances to mic’d up love confessions at the Super Bowl to a special appearance from Travis at the Eras Tou.

This led many to speculate if they’re loved up for reals or loved up for the cameras.

So what’s authentic to Taylor?

Getting engaged secretly, following it up with being officially married, and then announcing it to the world AFTER all these events took place.

That’s what my sources are telling me and considering everything I’ve known and heard about Taylor in the past… this seems very likely.

The news follows a viral contract alleging that Taylor and Travis are just a PR stunt that will break up on September 28th. This claim shocked both Taylor and Travis and gained attention from mainstream media.

Shortly after, Taylor and Travis were all loved up at the US Open which they attended together on September 8th.

The VMAs followed on September 11th, where Taylor did a rare thing and that was thanking a significant other in her winning speech saying:

“Something that I’ll always remember is that when I would finish a take... I would always just hear someone like, cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it,” she said while recalling the experience of filming the music video.

“And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”

So it’s safe to say that they combated the speculation head-on.

My Thoughts:

I think that Taylor doesn’t see it getting any better than this. With Travis, everything seems perfect. He’s someone who has something going on for himself, he’s likable, he fits the aesthetic of who one would think Taylor would get married to, and he’s a relationship that is a big part of Taylor’s current career peak.

If she would get married to anyone, it would be Travis.

But the idea of everyone knowing this irks Taylor who likes to be in control of everything going on.

I’ve heard mixed stories of “yes they’re in love” and “this is borderline a stunt” but I think that what’s going on with Tayvis is a beautifully crafted In The Middle™.

Every celebrity relationship weighs 2 things: the benefits for their personal life and their public life. Kind of like an arranged marriage.

Taylor is also someone who has built a literal fortress around her life where it’s only her in the kingdom. Will she be able to share it with someone or will she burn it all down?

If you recall, during the era of Joe Alywn who was written off as quickly as characters in Game of Thrones, sources were speaking to the media about how the two ARE engaged, how Joe can’t wait to support Taylor at the Eras tour, and how they’re doing better than ever…. to: they were actually broken up for months and oh for the last 10 years, she’s been in love with Matty Healy.

Taylor likes to one up everyone so the mere post on Scandalous Media announcing their engagement could definitely make Taylor run for the hills to change everything up.

I’m fully prepared for the backlash from fans when she goes out of her way to disprove this information and even more prepared for the amnesia that will follow once there is confirmation.

Do I see them getting engaged and having kids and having a perfect aesthetic fairytale marriage? Yes.

Do I also see that not happening? Also, yes.

But this is why I’m clarifying what is source information vs. my opinion… so now, tell me what’s yours.
