Demi Lovato Overdose: Stay strong Demi. You will rise.

It was sadly announced today that Demi Lovato was rushed to an LA hospital due to an overdose. 

First it was reported that Demi overdosed on heroin but TMZ later retracted that statement when Demi’s camp reached out and denied the heroin claim and said it was a different opioid. 

She was unresponsive when the ambulance arrived at her LA home, but was able to be revived due to being treated with Narcan earlier on. 

Narcan is an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses and it is suspected that it was carried along with one of her friends and that’s who treated her when the overdose happened. 

Demi’s rep reached out to TMZ and said “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy.” 

Thank God. 

We know that some of our readers keep asking us if we know anything since we revealed Demi’s ongoing drug addiction in 2016 which she later confirmed by releasing Sober. 

Truthfully guys, I had a feeling this was going to happen. Seeing Demi’s weight gain in the past couple of weeks made me scared because even though I saw her as beautiful, I knew that she wouldn’t see herself as such. As we’ve said in the past, whenever Demi brings up her issues to the public, it is a cry for help and speaking out loud about it, gives her the strength to continue. Hence her making the decision to release Sober. 

I am just really scared for Demi and I urge everyone to keep her in their prayers. Send her all your love and show her that you care. She’s been through so much and she is such an amazing person, it hurts me so much to see her struggling like this.
