Camila Cabello says she was forced to be sexual while with Fifth Harmony.
Hopefully this post keeps you all patient until the third Fifth Harmony exposed post. It was requested by many to give you my two cents on Camila’s comments as well as explain more about what she meant about that.
Also, keep this post in mind until the third Fifth Harmony exposed post because the way Camila handles herself publicly after her split from Fifth Harmony is relevant to the post.
Here’s what Camila said:
“Especially with being a girl group, there’s been a lot of times where people have tried to sexualize us to just get more attention. Unfortunately, sex sells. There’s definitely been times where there’s stuff that I have not been comfortable and I’ve had to put my foot down…I feel like it’s been tricky because we’ve had to grow into ourselves while being in front of the world and while making songs that did have a lot sexual undertones. There’s nothing wrong with showing sexuality. If you have that inside, it’s just an expression of who you are. If you want to share that with people, that’s amazing… If you’re not ready for it, put your foot down.”
When Fifth Harmony were all kiddy kiddy and singing about moving on, on Disney Channel, no one cared about them.
People thought they were boring, irrelevant, and unappealing.
Their team saw that so what did they do? They started a new marketing plan in which the girls are seen as more sexier beings. This first started in their music video for Boss.
They started getting more attention and so the plan continued. They started wearing less and less, shaking their ass more, and singing about liking rough sex.
Worth It, a sex song, became their first hit.
It’s notorious for this lyric:
Come harder just because
I don’t like it, like it too soft
I like it a little rough
Not too much, but maybe just enough
Back when this was all starting, the Fifth Harmony girls had no problem with being more sexier and singing about sex because they craved the fame just like any newbie star would.
They listened to everything their team wanted them to do and they did it. So it’s not like they had a problem with it.
With that being said, Camila didn’t have a problem with it really.
I don’t like how Camila was making it seem like she had a problem with being “sexy” and dancing provocatively when she was more than happy to dp what she was told and pitched in on new ideas for what she can do.
I wouldn’t find anything wrong with what Camila said if she didn’t just recently ditch her ex-group to promote a song about doing bad things to a guy she’s into.
Camila annoyingly repeats:

and MGK raps:
I got what you dream about
Nails scratchin’ my back tatt
Eyes closed while you scream out
And you keep me in with those hips
While my teeth sink in those lips
While your body’s giving me life

Like hello? The song is about sex
So don’t mind me… I’m just a bit confused. You claim you were sexualized in Fifth Harmony for singing sex songs and dressing sexy, yet here you are singing a sex song as a solo artist.. with someone like ten years older than you. And it’s not a cute innocent sex song either.

Again, hello?
I just don’t think it’s cute to want to blame the way Fifth Harmony has been managed and how they became somewhat relevant and claim that was her problem when it was her intention to leave the group since she was singing about moving on with ya girls.
In Camila’s defense, she did want more creative freedom and the ability to write other songs, buuuuuuuut, she wanted that as a solo artist. She didn’t want to give that to the group. She wanted her best ideas kept to herself.
I can see where she is coming from, but it’s hypocritical since she left her group upset about this being sexualized thing, but that’s what she’s doing as a solo artist.
In the first 5H exposed post, we talked about Camila’s solo team and the way they manage her. Ever since 4H ended her by exposing her true intentions (which we told you months in advance), her team went into “victimize mode!” Camila now needs to victimize herself and act like being in 5H was such a horrible thing and no one knew what was going on behind the scenes.
It’s true though. No one did know what was going on behind the scenes until the exposingsmg team revealed it to you.
All in all, Camila needs to pipe down because we’re always ready to expose.
