Are Justin and Hailey Baldwin dating? Are the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena's next victims?
Before we get into this post, let me just say Merry belated Christmas! Hope everyone had a lovely time with their friends and families. Sorry for our absence, but I’m sure you guys were also busy dealing with the holidays. So without further ado, lets get into this post.
Are Justin and Hailey Baldwin dating? Are the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena’s next victims? We promised you an answer to both questions a couple nights ago on ask.fm. A post about Hailey and 5sos was highly requested so here it is.
First, Justin and Hailey.
Justin and Hailey have been friends for some while and Hailey was one of the few people who didn’t turn her back on Justin by listening to Selena’s bullshit
Yes Hailey did compliment Selena a couple times between when that tweet was posted and now, but that tweet just shows that Hailey was never against Justin. However, seeing how close Justin and her got, I’d say the only person she’s against now is Selena. Anyways, according to to our source, Justin and Hailey aren’t dating.
I don’t even know why you guys asked us in the first place when Justin already answered that question
Like we’ve been saying, Justin isn’t looking for someone new to date. We’ve explained in depth in the last post, how “stuck” he was when he dated Selena. He had no female contact outside of Selena and work. So now he’s finally free. He’s just enjoying life and having a good time. If that translates to he’s a manwhore who fucks anything with a vagina, then you probably don’t have much friends… who are guys.
Moving on to 5 Seconds of Summer
For those of you who don’t know, 5 Seconds of Summer is a new popular band. Since I’m not really a huge fan, I had to do my research on them and what I found out is that they’re one of the few bands who actually made it big ever since One Direction sorta made it impossible for another band to become a hit. Their debut album was a huge success when it debut #1 in the US and was certified gold a couple months later. It also sold over a million copies worldwide. All those three little facts about their debut album, is something Stars Dance couldn’t do, besides debut #1 (5sos actually debuted by exceeding 100k).
~*sniff sniff* Selena breathes in the smell of a successful band consisting of mostly teenage boys. “Ah” Selena exclaims, my favorite kind!~
The lead singer, Luke Hemmings, just turned 18. You know how Selena loves them young and popular. Yeah they’re four years apart, but age never stopped Selena before. If I remember correctly, Selena had a thing for minors
Now I’m not saying she slept with ALL of them, but no one in her age group really hangs out with minors or even pays attention to them. Whatever. The point is, anyone popular or new on the scene or in the spotlight or has a chance of being in the spotlight, just know that Selena will get her name attached to them by doing something very simple–using social media.
Now you’re about to see how smart Selena is on getting people to talk about her. It was a simple action made on social media that does change a lot of things.
When we tweeted that 5sos, (specifically Luke Hemmings), didn’t like Selena
three days later, she made her move onto the band’s bassist, Calum Hood
We told you a long time ago that Selena stalks our account. This just proves it. Anyways, a couple moments later, Calum followed Selena
You know how on Twitter when a big account follows you, you usually follow back to be on good terms? Yeah that’s sorta what’s going on here. I’ll explain that in a sec.
Now September 26 comes and that’s the day Selena follows Luke, on Twitter
You’re probably like “okay, what’s the big deal? It’s just a like/follow”
What some people STILL don’t understand, is that social media is extremely powerful and it becomes more and more powerful each day. To write a post about 5 Seconds of Summer, I had to watch a couple of interviews about them to sorta know them and they don’t have scripted interviews so getting to know wasn’t too hard. In one of those interviews, Selena was brought up. Why you may ask? Because she followed Luke on Twitter. It went something along these lines
“So Luke, you just got followed by Selena Gomez on twitter. Did you dm her?”
And bam. Just like that, she got mentioned in their interview and linked to them. Why? Well watching 5sos interviews made me realize that all four members are jokers. When they get asked about their celebrity crush, they’ll either say one of their own band members or claim it’s Oprah Winfrey. What I’ve also realized about them, is that they’re quite humble and don’t really think they’re all that. Meaning, they feel quite awesome when a big celebrity acknowledges them. Which is why when Selena liked one of Calum’s photos, he followed her and that began a sorta mutual link of liking each other’s photos between the two. When Selena followed Luke, he put her on his wishlist
Before all of this, they paid no attention to her. But her, a big celebrity in their eyes, paying attention to them, equals them paying attention to her.
It’s no denying that this band is probably the only band to sorta become this popular after One Direction. (Also don’t start attacking me saying well so and so is popular. I’m talking among pop culture and among the teens/young adults of this generation) Any other band was either just popular on Youtube among a couple thousand fans, or never really made it at all. We all know Selena tried to get into the One Direction circle, by following Niall to London and then liking a 6 week old photo of his. Or how about when Selena said she’d french kiss Zayn… even though Zayn was dating Perrie and was engaged to her later on. Self respect Sel, heard of it?
Oh I should probably tell you that this all happened as soon as she broke up with Justin. Lmao it’s honestly so pathetic how she tried to get into the One Direction circle right after the breakup. That article was from January 2013. I assume you guys already know the Jelena timeline, but I’ll repeat myself. They broke up in early November and tried to make it work throughout December, but by January, Selena was talking about swapping spit with Zayn.

Back to 5 seconds of summer. I don’t know if you guys noticed, but Selena so far leeched onto Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings only. That’s 2 out of 4. Aka the two most popular in the band. Luke has the most followers on Twitter and Calum comes right after. And from what I realized by the 5sos fans on my timeline, is that Luke is the most popular member. Calum and Luke are also the two youngest. They’re all pretty young for her. I mean the oldest member, Ashton, is two years younger than her and Michael is 3 years younger. But we all know age never stopped Selena before.
Now because of this post, more questions about 5sos will probably appear in ask.fm so to whether or not they’re Selena’s next victims, I don’t know who exactly she’ll go after. However, the 5sos fans (I don’t believe the fanbase has a name, but feel free to correct me) should pull a move out of the Directioners book. Scare her off the way Directioners scarred Taylor into not even dating anymore.
