Stars Dance Tour, the classy tour - Reviews.
I haven’t done a requested post in so long and I haven’t even spoke about Selena’s career in a while, but this one was requested so here I go.
In my opinion, I wasn’t too fond of the Stars Dance Tour. Selena was hoping for a Britney Spears kind of slay, and received and delivered a mediocre amount.
For starters, it wasn’t successful.
First of all, it wasn’t sold out. There was only like what? One sold out show? She played in small arenas. Most of her arenas had like a 8,000 capacity and probably fit only like 7,000 people if you subtract how many seats the big “S” takes away. Lets not forget the people who didn’t attend.
Second of all, it was practically empty.
Third of all, its gross is embarrassing.
Her last tour, outgrossed this tour with less dates. You wanna know why? Because on her last tour, people only came with the little bit of hope they had of seeing Justin.
You know what else outgrossed the Stars Dance Tour? Her peers Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato’s last tours.
Miley’s Gypsy Heart Tour outgrossed the Stars Dance Tour with only 20 dates that were all outside of the US. In other words, she had no US interference. No promo. No ex-boyfriend reunions. No nothing.
Demi’s A Special Night With Demi Lovato also outgrossed the Stars Dance Tour. Demi had 20 more dates, but they were played in much smaller arenas and it wasn’t a headlining worldwide tour.
I assume Miley and Demi’s tours outgrossed Selena’s because people actually attended to see quality performances and LIVE singing.

One out of the many things that I hate about Selena, is her preaching about class.
Okay lets ignore the fact that this is obvious Miley shade and lets jump right to the part where, Selena Gomez is really not classy.
Selenators who are uneducated like their idol, have an interesting definition of class.
I honestly don’t think that we should criticize ANY star for being “unclassy” specifically when it comes to their work. If Miley is gonna grind on Robin Thicke to be interesting, then so be it. If Lady Gaga is gonna dress in weird revealing outfits to be different, then so be it. If Selena Gomez is gonna grind on guys, be half-naked, drag her ex, sing about blowjobs, AND preach about class, then no, we have a problem. Wanna know why? Because that’s the act of hypocrisy.
The only reason I criticize Selena for anything she does that’s “adult-like” you could say, is because she preaches about class while doing it. No sis! You aren’t gonna sit up here and make fun of other stars while you do the same exact thing.
The Stars Dance tour was FULL of kids just like the Stars Dance album was FULL of sexual lyrics. The entire Stars Dance era was all about sex yet Selena swear she classy.
How are you gonna preach about class and then do the following at the same concert
Lmao reminds me of the dance scene in Mean Girls. And Mean Girls was not a kids movie and neither was the Stars Dance Tour but what stopped Selena from acting like a pole dancer in front of pre-teens? Her class sure didn’t!
Covering a sex song… right after singing about blowjobs. The classiest there ever was. The classiest there ever will be. The classiest there is.
Pole dancing? Rope dancing? Whatever she’s doing isn’t really appropriate for the 8 year olds that are spending their night watching her regardless of the fact that its past their bedtime.
Yes slaylena! Teach these 7th graders what to do at their school dance!
I’m not gonna keep going for two reasons. 1.You should get the point. and 2. There will be a classy debate part 2 but as you guys know, that will involve Miley.
However, this post is strictly based on the Stars Dance tour. To me, I feel bad that people sent their money to see Selena mediocrely dance, be rude at m&gs, and not even sing. But that’s just me! And the Stars Dance tour was very appropriate considering its audience.
